They had the best pizza in America, then they closed it and changed it to this? What is this even? Is it a mafia front or something? I can't rate the food because they don't make any. It's a retail store so there isn't any service and the atmosphere sucks- the women who work their are annoying

Just an FYI, most of these negative reviews seem to be for Michael's main restaurant next door, not the cafe. Amazing sandwiches. Meat is sliced to order, dressing and bread are super fresh and the salads are amazing. Decent prices on homemade to go sauces as well. And don't sleep on the espresso!

You just have to know that when you have a local Italian family. That's not only in the restaurant business but knows a lot about cooking that. You're gonna get some really fun and authentic food to go at the market and you do.Just go try and support a great new version of a local business.The sauces and the pizza are excellent.

I was expecting more. I love that they are farm to table and focus on clean, wholesome organic products and they make their own seltzer water but the food was not as flavorful as I expected. I prefer LA Parolaccia Osteria in Long Beach for Italian cuisine.
