I guess we stopped in while they are under construction, and the lady working the counter was really super nice and apologetic for the ambiance, but the place was dark and the coffee wasn't great... Was definitely hoping for better based on the past reviews... Will maybe give it another chance in the future but just not impressed by the burnt-tasting espresso...

I love this place. I've come here a few times and have not been disappointed. They're always changing up there menu and having some delicious new things to try. The classics are always great and tasty, so there's nothing to complain about. The barista, is super sweet there too! Nothing but good things here.

I discovered midnight grind cafe aftwr work i was driving super hungry abd thank god i found them. As i walked in i was welcomed by some great music. i was welcomed by Nadia, a really sweet and chill lady. she guided me thru their foodie menu, really simple and great tasting. i had a turkey croissant sandwich loaed up with some extras. i washed it down with a "fire" chilled green tea. i hung out for a bit a talked with Nadia and she said that this was a family owned enterprise and i was compelled to continue patronizing with future visits. I recommend this place' food to all long beach locals who want excellent coffee in the morning. cheers ;)

Does this place not have a set schedule? I walked by the place on Sunday and it was closed around 10 AM ... I've gone by quite a few times and, every time I go by, it's always closed. When I walked over on Sunday, I looked for a posting of their hours and I couldn't find anything. But then I drove by yesterday and I was surprised to see their doors were open sometime late evening -__- I've been wanting to try this place, but, every time I go when it says it's opened, I'm disappointed because it's always closed. Can someone please let me know when they're actually open so I can finally try this place?

Unfortunately I was really let down by this place. The customer service was subpar, it looked like she was running a daycare in the back of the shop. The iced mocha was a let down. I was hoping for a picture worthy iced coffee, that didn't happen. Overall I'd say that I wouldn't return to this coffee shop and I would not recommend it to a friend.

Came here out of curiosity. I walk past this place like almost everyday and decided to give it a try. I ordered a Thai milk tea with boba and a couple of macaroons and let me tell you , they're delicious! I will definitely come back

Please update your hours, whenever I try to go it's never open when it says open. Yelp says you were open today at 6:00PM and it was closed. I really wanna try your boba but I never know when you're open.

Ordered an iced dirty vanilla chai with 4 shots of espresso. While the barista was working alone & has multiple orders ahead of me(both food & coffee), she was as quick as she could be with quality still being the priority. My dirty chai was exactly what I needed to get me through a 12 hour work day. Delicious & packed with enough caffeine to keep me moving & groovin through my entire shift.
