Smokin Joe's sammy is delicious! The service and the atmosphere was good too. Ordered a piece of chocolate cake and they literally gave me a huge square of cake. Wish I could have finished it, but it may have actually killed me if I tried. Would dine here again!
We had Modica's twice during our vacation to Long Beach and I would have them a third time if I was still in LB. The French Dip was excellent, the Chicken Parm was ok. The service is fast and the prices are in line with the market.
Expect a casual spot for quick meal of pasta, sandwiches, and some basics. We chose here because they had outdoor seating and a pretty big menu. I got the custom select 3 and chose the vegetarian options: I got the rosemary potatoes, pesto pasta, and mushrooms. Loved their garlic bread and portions! It wasn't busy for a Friday afternoon and service was friendly as well!
