Well, it is what it is. A pub on the second floor over looking the hustle and bustle of Long Beach's well known 2nd street. Interestingly enough, the pub is over a gym and weight room. So, on the inside you watch people sweating it out and wishing they were you drinking above them. Weird right? Service decided they were closing early once I got there. So unfortunately didn't get to really drink there. Seemed a bit unusual...No worries, just took my business elsewhere.
Cannot say about the food as I didnt had any. They have a pretty long list of beers from different places. I love german dunkel and loved it there.
Love this bar, always mellow. bartenders seem quite inexperienced. maybe they’re new.

What a fun place to hang out at in the Belmont Shore business district of Long Beach CA. Murphy's Pub @ the Belmont entrance is right next next to the gym and you can grab a beer/wine , watch sports and look down on 2nd Street and people watch.
