First off, we've been a number of times and we like to take out of town visitors to NRC for a treat they are not likely to forget. That was the case last night. My nephew and his wife were in town and ready for some ‘carnage. This did not disappoint! Getting there early is definitely the way to go. Seating is quick, service is quick and courteous and the food is as fresh as it can be. Elmer was with us the entire time and everything came out hot and succulent, just like you want your ribs to be. 5 out of 5 Stars yet again.

The food wasn't good and the service wasn't good either. The brisket was super dry. The ribs were not tasty. The Mac and cheese tasted like it came out of a box. It was an overall bad experience.

Celebrated boyfriend's birthday and caught the dodger World Series game at the bar. Great food and server. Definitely worth it. Will be back!

Honestly, this place has gone downhill. We've been here for years since I was a child and my mom loves it because it has a dim atmosphere. They are charging Mastro's prices for inadequate food and poor service. Even Nick's on 2nd is cheaper. We went here for my mom's birthday, and the service was extremely poor. He didn't educate us on the menu, nor shall specials, and was just “there”. The server did not care. I very kindly asked him to make sure my chicken strips were gluten-free. (It's on the menu) I expressed this 3 times. He said he would make sure and they were not. I didn't say anything because I was in a big party, and didn't want uphold everyone from going ahead and eating. Management if you're going to give a server a big party with these prices, please make sure they can uphold standards. Going out to eat is a now a luxury, and this was disappointing.

We love the Baby back Ribs! We find the food consistent and delicious! They serve large portions too, very good value for money. One of our favorite places to eat.

The service was subpar. - No coffee refills - No bussing - Server was inattentive - Steak temp was entered into system wrong All in all we go often and the server was not close to normal caliber. Hope yo see additional training.

We were a party of 5 with reservations. They took us in very quickly. The food was amazing. They started with this amazing corn bread and some yummy butter. The service was excellent. The kept our water glasses filled and kept on asking if we needed anything. The ambiance was comfortable and not too loud. We could hear each other talk normally.

My Grandfather and I came here for the first time. The food was well-made, the customer service was reliable, and the atmosphere was welcoming. While the prices are concerning, I would come back here again.
My husband loves the rack of baby back ribs with a baked potato and corn, with a salad to begin. I ordered the full Southwest salad adding chicken. We both took parts of the dinner home to enjoy the next day.

Food was terrible. Once you've had Houston‘s ribs it's hard to go back to these things you have to fight with for very little reward. The gluten-free cornbread was good. Server was cool. Food was much too expensive for the quality. I will not go back.

Great place. Our server was very attentive. Having a picky eater (12 yr old daughter) she was wanting brisket. The server brought her out a sample, she liked it. Unfortunately she couldn’t get a kids sized portion. She then opted for a cheeseburger. Portion sizes…. They were massive. Not a complaint, but we just couldn’t finish it. I think maybe you should be given the choice is a small, medium or large portion and be able to pay accordingly
