Awful awful awful!!! We got so many dishes! Except their beans everything tasted so mediocre and super salty! We didn’t ate 1/10 of the chow mein because of how unappealing it looked, and it tasted just the way it looked. You barely can taste anything and flavor wise… you literally can make this at home 10 times better than this. Service was really disappointing too. I understand everyone is tired, but they were so annoyed that we asked for the simplest things like extra napkin and vinegar! And PLEASE don’t use their restroom unless you want to puke. It was literally flooding… We really liked this place but it’s sad to see what they have become.

Horrible service. The individuals at this restaurant are extremely disrespectful and are very arrogant. They force tips and charge a high amount of gratuity. The atmosphere is chaotic with dishes clattering, waiters/waitresses yelling, and the TV on high volume. You can’t even hear what the person next to you saying. The food is also salty and not ideal for individuals with blood pressure or diabetes. The flavor overall isn’t good either. I would not recommend this restaurant at all.

"I recently visited Nomad Asian Bistro and I have to say that the food was absolutely delicious! Every dish I tried was bursting with flavor and I thoroughly enjoyed my meal. However, I was disappointed with the service provided by the waitstaff. They seemed disinterested and inattentive, and it took a long time for them to take my order and bring out my food. Despite the subpar service, I would still recommend this restaurant for the incredible taste of their food."

I really enjoyed this place. The family style, made you feel like you were family. Every table was talking to us, this was my first time there, and making suggestions or confirm me whether something was outstanding or just good. My family enjoyed the place. This is definitely a staple in the family now as one of our go-to restaurants!Vegetarian options: I was the vegetarian in the group. They made substitutions for me from the main courses that were excellent.

We came here to tryout a new Chinese restaurant... we came in to at bout 6ish for an early dinner and it was packed to capacity.. nevertheless we were seated within a few minutes... I said to myself the food must be good that's why it's so packed.. cut to our order we ordered our regular potstickers, shrimp fried noodles, spicy shrimps .. the taste was ok.. I found the whole ambience and cutlery a bit tacky..

Portions were huge and delivered so quickly (within 15 minutes). They were also delicious. We were 4 people so we got to taste each others meals. Some meals felt warmer than others and some of the meat in certain dishes were more well cooked than others. The main meals do not come with rice so you can always order one and share with others.Overall: Kind staff, delicious food, and great service.

Nomad's Asian Bistro has the best Chinese food. I went on Sunday with my sister and brother in law and was seated outside. I really recommend sitting outdoors, as they have heat lamps and a really serene ambience. We ordered the garlic jalapeño chicken, honey walnut shrimp, and hand cut noodles. The garlic jalapeño chicken was hands down the most delicious Chinese dish I have had. It was a perfect balance of sweet and savory with the right kicks. Not too spicy, hit the spot. The honey walnut shrimp was crisp and not too sweet, which was paired perfectly with the walnuts. Although we ordered hand cut noodles the dish hadn't arrived by the time we finished eating so we canceled that. Bummer-- it would have been nice to have the noodles with the dishes. Luckily they removed the noodles from our check. I think the struggle we had was the food didn't come out at the same time. Although the first two dishes came out fast we didn't get to enjoy the last one. Nevertheless I would recommend Nomad to anyone who enjoys Chinese food. I will definitely be back next time I'm in OC!

Still a top choice for Chinese in the LBC. I happened by on the way home from elsewhere and picked up chow mein with chicken and chicken with asparagus. Both are good dishes but the asparagus suffered from the drive home steaming in its own heat so it was overcooked and no longer crisp which was disappointing for a $19 entree. I will avoid that one but will return again and again for those noodles!

I have been to this restaurant a couple of times by now. I enjoyed every dish. Chinese is one of my favorite cuisines and this places doesn't disappoint. Their orange chicken is one of the best. They have GF, vegetarian dishes and they are all delicious. It gets really crowded after 6pm so try to go before that. I would definitely recommend it.
