First time here and they nailed it. Got the Bolognese sauce, very tasty and the pasta, curly long ones, were excellent. The wine did not really pair with the red sauce, a Spanish dry red...Water next time perhaps. Will definitely return to this spot! The bread was very tasty ....after we had them cut it for us.

An exquisite way to start the day- with superb hand made pasta, fresh crisp salad, and lots of other delectables.

Went here for brunch and it was amazing!! I used to frequent the Wood&Salt Tavern in Bixby Knolls, but this place exceeded all expectations. The manager Daisy Dominguez is so sweet and welcoming and made this experience a whole lot better. If you are thinking about eating here, just do it! This place definitely earned themselves a new regular. The food is the best I've ever tasted. Even my friend who has been to Italy says that the food was way better than what she had in Italy! After eating here, it was all I could think about the rest of the day. Please give this place a try! You'll love it guaranteed!

Good bakery with gluten free and vegan options for muffins and doughnuts, and pasta but not for freshly baked bread. Some small winery wine and chocolate selections. A little pricey. Outdoor seating. Coffee and pastry can be ordered at the counter, the host/hostess seats customers for meals.

Everything was delicious, but the brioche with honey, pistachio, and ricotta was the highlight of our experience. Service was welcoming and helpful. We will definitely return!

Excellent food, especially liked the sardines with crostini, will definitely be back to try more of the menu. Service was kind but slow, seemed like not enough staff at the front of house, and we had to ask for things like silverware or a drinks menu. Still, absolutely worth coming to.

I love visiting Nonna. We first discovered them at our local Farmer's Market, where they had a stall selling freshly baked bread and pastries. They told us they had a brick-and-mortar location in Long Beach so we had to visit it. While you're perusing their wares in their shop, you can see the bakers working their magic through a windowed wall. It's so fun to watch them mix, knead, and shape. And that's if you just drop in to pick up bread. You can also get breakfast and lunch here (on the weekends, I believe), and they serve amazing handmade pasta dishes among many other Italian and French fusion delights.Though it can be a bit expensive, it seems most things are handmade and the ingredients are soooo fresh. Drop in to spoil yourself, your fam, or friends with amazing baked goods. Or have a birthday or otherwise celebratory brunch here. It's well worth it.Parking: I park in the nearby neighborhoods if i can't find street parking, which is either taken already or it's limited to a couple hours during the day.

I always enjoy my time here. Always ate their pastries so it was nice to finally have breakfast here! Portions were great! I got the Nonna Breakfast & hubby got the Italian Muffin Panini. Both delish! Love a place that still serves beverages in a cup when dining in! Fresh bread made daily! You can watch them make it too! However I took 1 star off cos we put our name on the list (only 2 of us) while others after us put their names down, only to be seated before us. Must have gone thru 5 parties before we got seated. I understand if we had a big party but there was only 2 of us. That was a lil frustrating & unfair. Luckily I like the food/drinks & our waitress was very attentive to us. Don't come on a busy weekend if you have somewhere you need to be afterwards.

Visited this place after hearing so much buzz, and I'm always on the lookout for great pastries. Opted for a baguette and a dessert after brunch. The place was bustling, with lovely outdoor seating and interiors resembling a modern European bakery. Looking forward to returning post-diet for a full pastry feast!Parking: Street parking along Atlantic.

We hopped in line a little before 10AM on a Sunday, and only waited for about 15 minutes before being seated - which was perfect, because you get access to both the Brunch and Lunch options! We were seated outside, and I didn't get a chance to check out the interior. Dog friendly patio.I genuinely can't say enough good things about the food here.We started with country bread with cultured butter & jam, which was SO good, the flavor and texture of the bread itself was so good you could eat it plain - but butter and jam were excellent as wellI came here *specifically* to try the tonarelli alla carbonara, after seeing pictures of it here on Yelp. The flavors were rich, the noodles were perfectly chewy and fresh. I genuinely think the locally sourced/fresh ingredients are what make the difference here (no flavors lost trying to preserve ingredients for longer shelf lives).Had a bite of my boyfriend's lasagna - it's drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette, I'm not usually a fan of lasagna because of how soggy and tomato-y it is, but this was excellent. I think they cook each one in its own little tin, so they all have a nice crust - no middle pieces!! When ordering, they had to double check they still had some left, so it's popular - and a limited offering.NB: it looks like they update their menu every month, most of it is the same, but there are about 5 offerings you won't see listed online, so maybe keep that in mind!I liked my latte, but the americano was just ok. Might be a liiiiittle nitpicky for this, but they served it to us in a paper cup, and also without a hot sleeve. Not having glassware for it was a little bit of a turnoff, but not enough to lose a star (just, worth noting).A lot of the bixby knolls area food has been a bit of a miss, but not Nonna Mercato - We'll be back!!
