this was my first time ordering from here. I wanted to try a basic sandwich first. I got the Roast Beef Special (Rbs) with turkey added. it was really great. so healthy. very fresh ingredients. I will be ordering again

I've always seen this place packed during lunchtime. I came here to try their sandwiches. They have only seating outside. There is street parking and in the neighborhood. The shop is a grocery store in the inside. They have jeni's ice cream, pasta, deli meat, cheese, refrigerated pasta, salad, and sandwiches. There's also pasta salad you can choose. The staff was super nice and quick in making my sandwiches. I got the Prosciutto di Parma, which has mozzarella cheese and prosciutto. You can definitely taste the freshness in the ingredients. The other sandwich i got is the spicy combo. It definitely was spicy you can tell from one bite of the salami. This is definitely a great sandwich shop.

I’m a hairstylist and work at a salon up the street on Redondo and one of my clients recommended it to me because she used to live in Long Beach. Today was my second time in there and the first time and second time, both sandwiches were delicious, fresh and tasted wonderful. They have a seating area in front of the store that makes it great to enjoy your sandwich. Woman who works there and does the register is very sweet, I hope I catch her name next time. They did a great job making my sandwich and with their customer service - $10 for a delicious and fresh sandwich is not bad at all! 10/10 recommend.

I love this local specialty grocery store. Their sandwiches are amazing and very fairly priced for such great quality. I love their frozen baked goods like the scones, cookies, biscuits, even pot pies. They have ready made salads and other entrees, desserts, and just overall some delicious stuff!

2 of my friends had mentioned this place recently and one (finally) dragged me with her after the gym to get some brussel sprouts. I ended up getting their biggest container (of brussel sprouts), a thick slice of meatloaf (pre-sliced) & a small container of chicken salad (for sandwiches). All three items were delicious but too expensive (over 31 bucks). I really enjoyed them but not on a regular basis (as a treat on occasion). As for parking, we found a green 20 min spot but it appears it can be difficult to find a spot.

Incredible sandwiches. Pricey, but worth it. Only place I could find a muffuletta. Their potato salad is great too. The pasta salad was good, but didn't stand out as much. I have gone back multiple times, and would go back again. Delicious every time.

Now this place knows how to make a good sandwich. I'm loyal to the Spicy Steve. Sometimes even dream of it. The bread, meat, and other components all just hit right. The ingredients are high quality. The staff is incredibly nice and I've never had to wait long even when there's a line of customers. The interior is large and includes the deli and market where you can buy imported items!
Olives Grocer is SO worth your time. If you're looking for a lunch to bring home or, take on an outing, they have everything you need. If you're looking for those unique items to prepare a 'special' meal, Olives Grocer has you covered. All the deli items are fresh and very tasty. The pricing is very reasonable, especially for the portion size. And, all the staff are very friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend that you give Olives Grocer a try... you won't be disappointed.

I stumbled upon this amazing sandwich shop in Long Beach, and it has quickly become my absolute favorite spot in town! Today I decided to go with something I don't normally eat.. the Spicy Steve (a cold-styled sandwich). I'm not usually a fan of cold sandwiches, but this one is an exception. The bread is what sets it apart from all the rest. It's so perfectly done that it takes the whole sandwich to another level. I am now a fan of this place and wholeheartedly recommend this place.
