Love this place food is always great & ready for pick up if not it's a small wait if you forget to put cheese on your pizza they will call you & ask if you did that on purpose (my twin did this once for a friend's b-day on accident for a cheese pizza we didn't realize there was no cheese & didn't recognize the number workers told us they could cook it with cheese but it would be a moment but we were fine with it & took it cooked sauce pizza isn't bad with their garlic sauce) workers are always polite & kind it's a good place to grab a pizza from & a cookie ever now & then they do give paper plates chili flakes, & cheese powder & napkins if asked for at the register when picking up your order this is great for those who want to eat in their car & on the road

This particular Papa John's is a small space in the Albertson shopping plaza on Willow St. They do deliver and maintain quite a business. They are clean. They have one little table to either wait for your order at or eat. They accept EBT, and for the location is a big plus. People who work there go out of their way to be helpful, although one might get the impression that they can get overworked and tired. I've had good experiences with staff and the food, to me, although not really traditionally Italian, is always good and served at the proper temperature.

Man, I used to eat here all the time before I lost my job and now temporarily live in my vehicle. Tried asking the manager, in vain, for a one time meal and he said, "No."This pizza take-out Corp is one of the well-managed pizza joints around. Assets in the hundreds of millions and they take everyone's money to survive. I spent hundreds at one point and now I am desperate for a meal and they basically say, "Starve. Not our problem."I told him I was a Vet. Didn't care. Long Beach business owners keep getting Woker and Woker and unappreciative of those who served to keep them a free people so to act so painfully uncaring and dispassionate about their fellow Americans.I will never eat at Papa John's ever again. Never. Never. And I mean never again.Anyone who has served/is serving avoid this place like radioactive waste. ☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️☢️. Better off somewhere else. The manager at this place needs a hard lesson on human ethics, social etiquettcy and interpersonal communication. He's quite heartless and heavily dismissive.Felt so lost when he rejected me. Americans can be the worst and yet men and women serve anyway to protect these mindless simians and defend their country and their freedom to live the most privileged life and enjoy one of the best standard of livings in the whole world. He'll go home to a warm bed and a nice meal.Have no anger for him, just plain old pity. Sleep well brother.

Placed an order with a 30 minute delivery estimate. Went our for delivery then said delayed according to their tracker. After an hour we called and asked for an update on our order. Manager checked with driver then called back saying the driver "took two orders", which I don't know what that was supposed to mean. He said it was on its way. Tracker updated to delivered by Abigail, even though it wasn't. Later we got another call from the Manager saying his driver knocked on "the side door" and tried calling. Problem is we don't have a side door and no one called us. 1 1/2 hours after placing our order a different delivery driver showed up with our cold food. He was apologetic and I don't blame him. But its funny the Manager couldn't bring himself to apologize for the poor service and instead blamed us. It's too bad the second delivery driver has more business sense than the Manager. No more Papa Johns business from us.
I just happened to see it on my way back to somewhere and said to myself 'oh I haven't had that in years' so I went in was super excited. Ordered 10" pizza with 3 toppings and cheesesticks with an extra sauce 1.50 extra. Like I said super excited till the total came....$25.00 and some change. (As I'm screaming in my head) you haven't had it years. Go for it! It smells good...now that was the little devil on my shoulder...the angel on my other shoulder was mute...lol...thank goodness that's a yearly trip. But if you the have the money to drop on Papa John's go for it. It was actually very good. Thank you guys.
