Papa Johns recently sent me an offer code* for a free Papadia on my next online order after I filled out an online survey from my last visit at a different location. The offer code was good for 90 days after completion of said survey. This 90-day period was coming to an end soon, so I had to make sure to redeem it before the fact. Since there are a handful of Papa Johns locations in Long Beach, I wanted to use this as an opportunity to explore a different part of town.I knew about the Papa Johns on 4th Street because I had stopped by Salud Juice Bar just on the other side of 4th. However, I didn't know about this Papa Johns on 7th Street until I was randomly driving by for another reason. The exterior looked more promising, like more spacious that might have a table or two for you to enjoy your pizza. However, as I later found out, that was not to be. Just like any other Papa Johns you go to, you can't really enjoy your pizza inside; it's pretty much carryout only unless you ask them to deliver. This Papa Johns is on the south side of 7th between Termino and Ximeno, There's a pretty big sign on the sidewalk with a pretty big arrow underneath pointing towards the entrance, so needless to say, you can't miss it lol. There's a lot that is quite sizable for the part of town it's in, but definitely not spacious by any means. If that lot is full, you could try the next lot over, but that one is a little smaller and is meant for customers of 7-Eleven, China Wok Express, or Ham 'n Scram.I arrived about 10 minutes before my scheduled pickup time, and I used that time to take a peek inside 7-Eleven and Ham 'n Scram. I still arrived a couple minutes early, and one of the employees asked if I was here for pickup. I told him yes as well as my name, and it still took a while for him to get my order. Funny because I thought I saw my order lying on a shelf, but he needed to do something in the back first before going back up to the register to ring me up.At the register, he got a little confused because he didn't understand why my total showed up as a goose egg. He thought it was a glitch, so I showed him my email receipt and explained to him I had used an offer code when I ordered online. A few seconds later, he handed me my complimentary Papadia as well as some napkins after I asked for some.At Papa Johns, they offer regular Papadias, Parmesan Crusted Papadias, and the recently added Doritos Cool Ranch Papadias. As cool as it would have been to try the latter two, my offer code only worked on the regular flavors. On this visit, I chose the Italian Papadia, which has Alfredo Sauce, Cheese, Italian Sausage, Salami, and Banana Peppers. Regardless of which Papadia you choose, you also get a choice of one of ten dipping sauces. Choose wisely and carefully! As I mentioned before, there isn't a table inside Papa Johns to eat, so I had to take my Papadia back to my car on this hot October day. When I opened the box, I was a little dismayed that there was no wrapping paper inside the box, so presentation definitely could have been better there. However, I tried not to let it ruin my experience of enjoying the Papadia, especially with the Zesty Dipping Sauce that I didn't recall seeing previously when I ordered Papadias from Papa Johns' website. That Zesty dipping sauce tasted pretty good I have to say! The Italian Papadia wasn't bad as well, but would have been quite bland if not for that dipping sauce. It was a little hard to eat because trying to fit the Papadia in the small sauce cup was quite a challenge that I actually dropped a few toppings. Luckily, the toppings landed inside the box as opposed to somewhere else in my car.To my surprise, they also included a pepperoncini pepper to go with my Papadia, which I thought was a nice touch even if I'm not much of a fan of these types of peppers. However, after finishing my meal, I got thirsty and needed to get a drink somewhere else. The Papadia was warm and nicely baked, but didn't leave that much of an impression. In

Customer service was good. Strangely it was cold immediately. Sadly, found a hair baked into the cheese bread. So won't be having this ever again.

The worst customer service to redeem your birthday cookie the man didn't even have clue what I was talking about the first time I went.. Second time different date thinking that will be a manager or something! but turns out he was the manager! Omg he told me to call instead and that will help me! He didn't even know where to go from the app. I'm calling customer service standing there for a while, while making the order online! The order location were far from where I live! After I figured out myself I suggested to the corporation/franchise to do a technology phone app. to be updated in the system they need to be trained 2022 come on!!! They should know by now and the rest of employees!!! ??‍♀️??

I ordered one cheese pizza , one pepperoni pizza, an order of jalapeño popper rolls and some cheesesticks. Instead I Got two pepperoni pizzas and no cheese pizza. I called the store and after being on hold for 10+ minutes with hold music that sounded like an ad for an old creepy porno, the employee I spoke with said she'd "call the driver and let them know." After an hour of waiting, I called back again, only to be on hold with the same creepy hold music for another 10+ minutes. The next employee who I spoke to proceeded to tell me I was the one who ordered it wrong, (which, by the way, I have the emailed receipt to show what I ordered ‍) and when I asked how we go about fixing the issue she said she "couldn't really tell me how to fix it." This is a perfect place to order food if you have over an hour to wait, and you don't care if what you ordered ISN'T what you get. Also, be prepared to sit on hold for a minimum of 10 minutes before anyone answers your call. Way to go Papa Johns!!!

If I order a pizza well done and I receive it and it is not well done. Please don't tell me I'm tripping. Trash a** service.

I've ordered pizza numerous times from this location and have never had an issue.I usually do a pick up, since I'm pretty close to them. Howeverr, this time I was very disappointed. I ordered the NY style, which was just a thin crust, not really NY style. The Pizza was dry, and cold. I think it was a rewarmed leftover pizza from earlier in the day. I always have enjoyed the garlic butter, but this time, it was cold and I used a butter knife to put it on the crust. All and all not a good experience.

Okay… I understand if someone puts an order in and it’s left behind if the doors not answered. But to intentionally eat part of the pizza… thats paid for by the person you’re delivering it to… come on…
