Papalucci's is as nice and reliable as it has been for the 30 yrs that I've been eating there. They are closing their doors at the end of September, apparently due to a 40% rent increase. This will be a significant loss to Belmont Shore and their many customers and neighbors.

Papalucci's in Belmont Shore is our favorite "Go To" local Italian restaurant in Long Beach, CA. Always perfect Al dente, tasty pasta, salads are fresh, seafood, pizza everything great! Sad to see them closing at the end of September due to health reasons but Pasadena location will remain open.

I have been coming here since I was a kid and now my wife and I bring our son to enjoy one of the best restaurants in Long Beach. We love this place! The Tucci's special pizza and fettuccini alfredo are the best. Miguel is a great server. We highly recommend eating here.

Good, solid italian food in a fairly non-descript atmosphere (at least as Belmont Shore goes). It was comfortable, though. Service was pretty good. The Quinceanera is amazing. Highly recommend that dish. Rest of our pasta dishes were just ok.
Second time coming here. Last year was my birthday when my now husband brought me here for dinner. Pesto is my fave. Garlic rolls are a must. At night, the tables are lit up with candles.
