Parkers' Lighthouse

The food was great half order clams was huge. Drinks were very slow but then we got comped free drink. Server was friendly. Very noisy in a happy way but still hard to talk. Pricey but in line with similar places.

I'm not sure what has happened but the food was just not good this time. Not one dish was satisfactory and my bill was close to $300. The appetizers, soup, nor main dishes were seasoned and all of the hot food was served barely warm. It was a BEAUTIFUL view but because it seems that was what we paid for, we will not be returning.

Everything was great! The only exception was the excessive noise level, which brought my score to a 4 star instead of a 5 star. Will definitely dine here again.

I wanted seafood and they did not disappoint! I had the Chilean sea bass and it was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! I added a lobster tail as well as clam chowder and I was stuffed! They have amazing waterfront views and the wait staff were helpful and attentive. I would definitely recommend them and if I'm ever back in the Long Beach area, I know where I'm eating!!

Love the location and decor, service was good but not exceptional tbh. The food also was not exceptional for the price. View and location to water and other shops were awesome. Bathrooms were not impressive nor clean for the price of the food. The filet mignon was not juicy, actually a bit dry and we asked for medium and it came medium well. Server gave a cute dessert for a bday celebration, but not an impressive treat. We had a lovely time because of the company and the location, but the food,l and service were all unexpectedly average for paying over $200 for 3 people and just one cocktail. Thanks for the experience but we will likely not be back very soon.

Got table on Patio next to glass around edge, view was great and the food was well prepared. The drink service was slow compared to the crowd.

From the reservations to our server, I would say it was exceptional! My family and I had a great experience. From the beautiful outlook of the restaurant, the scenery of the ocean was classy and professional. The food was undescribable and impeccable to the precision of the taste, the presentation and the quality. Our server was on point highly intelligent and greatly appreciated. I will be giving this restaurant five stars. I also will be recommending this restaurant to all of my colleagues in the professional world.

Overpriced and disappointing. The food looked fancy, but the taste was bland and not enjoyable at all—definitely not worth the money.

Celebrated a birthday here and everyone was so nice and helpful. Reservation was at 6pm but we arrived early and the host was so kind to get us seated early. It starts getting busy around 6 so if you want a quiet experience try an early dinner. Our server was great, she checked on us regularly. We got the half manila clams, brussel sprouts, mediterranean salad, and lighthouse sushi roll for the two of us. The food was really yummy. Would definitely try other fish dishes in the future. The restaurant is pretty, very scenic, and ambiance is nice.

Whenever we visit family in Torrance, we always make a trip to Parker's Lighthouse. The food is consistently good and the service is friendly and attentive. We like to enjoy a table outside overlooking the water. It's the perfect spot for hanging out, especially when the weather is nice. I highly recommend a trip to Parker's Lighthouse whenever you are visiting Long Beach.

We were a party of four. I was the only one not satisfied with my meal. I do not recommend the poke bowl because the crab was imitation, and tuna was warm.

Any great dining experience is a reflection of the staff and then the food. If you’re coming here for dinner, ask for Job. He was professional, pleasant, friendly, and intimately familiar with the menu.

We started with the clam chowder, lobster and shrimp taquitos and warm crab dip. The chowder was packed full of clams and absolutely fabulous. Similarly, the lobster and shrimp taquitos are an absolute must have. They were simply out of this world.

For my main course, I had the Seared Hokkaido Sea Scallops, again exceeding all expectations and falling into the excellent category. I paired my scallops with the 2023 Kettmeir Pinot Grigio based on Job’s recommendations, which was an excellent choice. My wife elected to have the lavender paradise zero proof cocktail, which she found refreshing.

We wrapped up the meal with the warm butter cake topped with vanilla ice cream and complimented with berries. What could be bad it was a winner.

I would highly recommend if you’re in town and have the time to come here for dinner. All of the staff was fantastic but our waiter Job definitely was a stand out. The food was exceptional, and I don’t think that you will be disappointed. Lastly, we had a table overlooking the Queen Mary, but the restaurant affords panoramic views that include the city. These views would be difficult to match at other restaurant in Long Beach.

The food here is not good. I had the seafood linguine. It was a dreadful mess. It was served in a bowl with the pasta and seafood swimming in an unpleasant green liquid. It was like a soup. The scallops, shrimp and clams were absolutely tasteless and the pasta was mushy. A really bad dish! My companion had the Chilean seabass and left most of it uneaten. We left very unhappy. I can't understand how this place has the relatively high rating it has.

This place exceeded my expectations. It could easily be mistaken for a tourist trap, but it wasn’t at all. The staff were kind and attentive. I’ve experienced a few restaurants in LA where the maître d’ gives patrons of my skin color awkwardly placed tables, but this place was very different. I was shown to one of the best tables in the restaurant. The food was excellent, and the view was beautiful. Thank you.
