Stopped by Philz today hoping to get a recommendation since I was in the mood to try something new. Unfortunately, the interaction left a lot to be desired. I asked for a suggestion and was met with a dismissive “they’re all good” without any real effort to guide me. It felt rushed and unhelpful, which made the overall vibe pretty cold.
I expect more from a place known for its personalized service. It shouldn’t be this hard to get a little enthusiasm or guidance at a coffee shop. Hopefully this gets addressed so future visits feel more welcoming. I wish I got her name but she was an African American woman who was working register.

Very very disappointed I love Philz coffee but I went last week with a group of friends we all ordered a hot latte excited to drink it and all of us sipped it and all the hot lattes were cold and I went back to tell the barista all he said was you can just stir for the price of the latte the survive was horrible the experience was the worse can't believe how they treat their customers the management should be aware of what's going on or they simply don't care anymore about their customers

White guy at the bar was rude when handing me my drinks. Very condescending during the interaction. Just don't think it's appropriate to tell a customer to walk away or leave while they are gathering their drinks. Idk if he was having a bad day or what, but it's totally unnecessary.

It is ok, price is about the same as everywhere else and the coffee isn't horrible but the staff seemed more interested in their conversations than service and as a result it took 10/15 minutes for me to get a cup of black coffee. For the wait, there's plenty of other places.

I came to order an americano... rep said... we dont do americano...just a good cup of coffee... so i was like.. sure. I left with a DAM GOOD CUP OF COFFEE! Wish I lived nearby (business travel) because id be a frequent customer. Thanks "PHIL"... great coffee.
Philz Coffee on 2nd Street is always a great stop when I need a solid cup of coffee. Their Mint Mojito Iced Coffee is my go-to! The vibe is super chill, and the staff is friendly. It can get a little busy sometimes, but the service is still quick. Perfect spot to grab a coffee and hang out or take a stroll around Belmont Shore!

I always have to get my mint mojito, sweet and creamy of course. Folks are always nice. It's a bit loud to setup and work but fine if you need to burn an hour. I love getting a taro donut next door to go with my drink.

Often pretty busy, but the workers make up for it with their welcoming charm and friendly personalities. It’s a solid location if you aren’t in a rush or a fiend for your morning coffee. I highly suggest ordering ahead on the app if possible to save time. The atmosphere is pleasant, making it worth the wait..
