The coffee isn't great. It was my first time at a Philz in years. I specifically ordered light and bright, because I remember the last time I went to a Philz the coffee was bold. The light and bright coffee is still too bold and sour for my taste. I want to like Philz, but I simply have to accept that I don't like it or maybe I need to order something with flavored cream? Both times I've been to Philz I ordered black coffee with brown sugar only.

It was my sister's and I first time at Philz Coffee! My coworkers recommended it to me and I wanted to try it. Shout-out to Susie for being so helpful and kind! I told her it was our first time and asked her recommendations and she gave me a whole variety! Once our drinks were ready, another lovely employee asked us to tasted it and if we like it, she can make it sweeter if we like. Definitely love that! Will be coming back in the near future! Who knew drip coffee could be so good? Lots of options, whether you like sugary drinks or straight up roasty black coffee. My favourite is philtered soul cold brew, and they have a great-tasting decaf.

Their breakfast burritos are pretty good, and the right size (smallish but not tiny) for a meal for me.

James has an impressive ability to remember my favorite coffee order. Every time I visit, he gets it just right, showing great attention to detail and a genuine passion for his craft. Watching him work, you can tell he truly enjoys making each cup special.
The ambiance of the shop is cozy, perfect for grabbing a cup to go or settling in with a book. I highly recommend Philz Coffee for anyone looking for great coffee paired with phenomenal service. James is a true asset to the team!

If not taking cash, it would be kind to place a sign on the door or elsewhere that says so. It sucks to have to wait in line, then order just to be turned away.

45 min wait today and the drinks ended up being so bad. We waited the 45 min so we didn’t even bother to ask for a remake. Like why. Anyways there was people waiting they called everyone’s drinks and then just placed out there with no name called. It was so frustrating that other people walking in were leaving before us. No communication as to why it took 45 min. It was who ever was working 5/11 from 9:00-9:45 am insane.
When i tell u the honey haze creamy & sweet has me in a choke hold. OMG the staff is AMAZING. I will drive from 1 side of la to the bixby knolls location. Coffe & service 10/10
