Super delicious noodles, found this place after having to come to signal hill for another errand. Highly recommend. Lucky to have stopped by.

First off, peak wait times easily exceed over 1hr+ so ALWAYS join the ONLINE WAITLIST ahead of time before driving over.

We've been here many times so whether you're feeling dry or soup Phnom Penh noodles, you're good to go. Busy neighborhood parking is free, but can be busy and packed.

I ordered the #15 Student Noodles from the Stir-Fry Noodles; with beef slices and shrimp. The dry noodle is eaten with their complimentary sweet fish sauce. The dish came with a bowl of pork bone broth. The soup was rich, savory and delicious

Great noodles, great congee, great tea, great youtiao (Chinese fried dough sticks) but, of course, American prices, sad to say

The restaurant has a pleasant atmosphere, simple and not too formal, as suits a Cambodian establishment. The menu items are similar, as some others have pointed out, to what you might expect at street food in Phnom Penh (but for 15 to 20 times the Cambodian price). I am sorry to dwell on the price but as someone who actually lives in the real PP, it is a little hard to stomach Cambodian street food at western formal dining prices. I know that this is Long Beach, not Chamkar Doung, but bear with me on the sticker shock!

Southern California Sinay says:
The staff are of Cambodian backgrounds but some of the younger wait staff don't speak all that much Khmer, if that is of significance to you and yours.

I got the beef stew noodles, and the broth was rich and complex! The tripe and pieces of beef were tender. We also got pork rice porridge and ca quai. The porridge had a good broth at its base, and the offal was prepared well without any unwanted flavors. The car quai was fresh an had good texture combining fluffy and crispy. We got some sides to complement everything too!

You have such good food. Fresh ingredients! Honestly I have been eating Thai food since the late 70s. Cambodia and Thai food are like sisters. I drive 40 minutes to eat your food. Please keep up the great restaurant food and hey please open up a restaurant in the South Bay!

We ordered their special dry noodle, but unfortunately, it was too sweet for our taste, and the noodles were overcooked. The restaurant's location in a poor neighborhood and has no parking, made street parking a challenge.

PhnomPenh Noodle Shack 🫵🏻🫵🏻is hands down the best noodle spot I’ve had in America! If you’re a fan of bold flavors, hearty portions, and comforting soup dishes — this place is a must-visit.

The bowls are huge — seriously generous portions loaded with noodles, a variety of meats, and rich, flavorful soup. Every bite is satisfying and packed with authentic Cambodian flavor. It’s the kind of meal that leaves you full, happy, and already thinking about your next visit.

Beyond the food, the vibe is awesome — casual, welcoming, and full of character. There’s great background music, the energy is relaxed, and the staff are super friendly and helpful, adding to the overall experience.

It’s also very cost-effective — you get incredible quality and a massive portion for a very fair price. It’s rare to find a place that offers such great value while still delivering top-tier flavor and service.

Breakfast and lunch menu
This place is small and busy but the flavors are there and the quality is great! Everyone we're in Cambodia town, we try new spots to try. I'm glad we found this before they got packed. Waiting list is outside and the lines get long but it's worth it. The khatiev broth is clean, crisp and light. The noodles are cooked perfectly.
