Delicious food with generous portions and super reasonable prices. The people working are super nice and the space is clean and well lit. There’s a few basic tables inside, not a full dine-in spot really. Easy parking in the strip mall too!

Fantastic banh mi, I've tried their classic number 1, Dac Biet, and also the pork belly bath mi. Both good, but the Dac Biet is always my favorite. Lee's Sandwhich was my go-to but this is the first banh mi place I've had that tops Lee's I'm quality at the arpund the same price.

Dear PBM Long Beach,What happened to the bread!!! It use to be light and crisp. Buttery flavored, and tender. Now it is tough and dry. Bland. This change has happened just from February to March. Before then every sandwich I had was awesome. I told all my family. They went and got sandwiches. But only yesterday we ordered 10 more sandwiches and the bread was not good. Please change it back to whatever baking/baker you had before. I'm a fan of the bread you had before. It made the sandwiches what it was. So great and delicious! Thanks.Ric

Been here a number of times since they opened and banh mi is always good. Very consistent with solid portions of meat and veggies. One of my regular stops in the LB area. People always friendly even though they are usually busy on weekends. Call ahead and avoid the wait. Well worth it!

i can confidently say its the best banh mi i ever had. its also pretty big and definitely worth the $9. most banh mis are like $6-7 and theyre like 2/3 the size of this one so the price is fair. ingredients taste so fresh and they fill it up. bread also tasted super flavorful and fresh as well. definitely recommend this spot for banh mis.

Stopped for brunch on Friday. Ordered our crispy pork egg rolls and Vietnamese ice coffee. I believe they make the crispy pork egg roll once an order is received so the pork fat is very crispy!! It was so good, and I am definitely going back for more! We stayed for a long time (10 am - lunchtime), and the establishment was full of people. Kinda felt bad that we stayed there too long, but no one gave us any look when we left.

So good! Huge banh mis for good prices. I got the fried fish cake bahn mi which is pretty unique. Veggies were fresh and baguette was delicious. The guy at the counter was really nice and made sure to let us know that they had charging ports for your devices in the waiting area. I saw some dine in seating but it's mostly a to-go place. I wouldn't consider this place to be "traditional" but I would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you've never tried Vietnamese food before.

What a wonderful wonderful sammy shop!! The staff were really welcoming and answered the many questions we had as it was our first time. I had been craving a Vietnamese sandwich and saw this spot come up on social media a few times (telling me something I know). $7.50 for a very generously sized sammy is such a deal these days. And it's not fast food. Lemongrass beef sandwich was in the softest bread and tastiest meat. $11 for Chicken Fried Rice!! It was sooooo yummy. We ordered some other items for family and everyone loved it all. Great service, great prices and great food! Also had a blast chatting with other customers who waxed poetics about Pickle.

One of the best banh mi's I've had recently. Flavorful, fresh and all around delicious. The service was friendly and prompt. The interior had a main counter and a few tables to eat there as well as a few benches available for you to sit while you wait for your to-go orders inside. We ordered a bánh mì đặc biệt (classic), bánh mì heo quay (pork belly), and bánh mì thịt nướng (grilled pork). The pork belly was my favorite, but all three were well liked in our family. We're looking forward to going again-- and they have a few locations!

SO GOOD. Gonna be honest from the get-go, the main reason we wound up here is because I had a craving chả giò, and didn't wanna head into the OC. This spot absolutely did the trick. Crunchy, dense, delectable, and affordable Vietnamese eggrolls served piping hot. All it took was one crunchy bite and I was sold. But we also got banh mi. Their bread was perfect, and you can tell that their mayo is house-made. I tried the lemongrass beef and it was absolutely delicious; my husband got their thick cut pork and he loved it. The pickled veggies were fresh and there was an abundance of all the toppings. Very flavorful, somehow less spicy than we expected but that's an easy fix. We will def be back.
