Very good food. Pricey, but big enough portions to save half for layer
The best tacos I have tried (carnitas was so delicious). The shrimp tacos could have cabbage or more but still really good.

Honestly, I had a bad experience with this place. They served me a beef burrito, but it didn’t have any meat in it. It was just rice and beans. I know they do it to save money. I told the waitress, and she went to someone in the kitchen and said that was the portion given to everyone.
I was really disappointed to have paid only for rice and beans.

I don’t usually write reviews, but this place was so unbelievably bad it feels like a public service announcement to warn people.
We ordered sit-down, and right away it was a disaster. The rice wasn’t just lukewarm - it was ice cold, straight from the fridge. For $22, I expected a decent amount of food. Instead, I got three tiny flautas filled with nothing but bland mashed potatoes and the smallest pinch of jackfruit. Totally flavorless.
Even worse, we noticed from Yelp photos that there are supposed to be two distinct sauces served with these dishes. Both of our orders arrived with only one. When we asked about it, they sent one tiny cup of some sad, mayo-based excuse for mole. And when we asked why they didn’t send two (since both orders were missing it), we were told: “We didn’t want to wash another ramekin.” Yes, you read that right- they were literally too lazy to wash a small dish, so they just shorted us. Who does that in food service?
And that “mole”? Absolutely disgusting. It tasted like vegan mayo gone wrong, toothpaste mixed with nothing. Completely inedible.
When we politely raised our concerns with the waitress, she looked terrified and insisted we talk to the owner. We asked why, and she froze like she didn’t even want to say more. Enter the boss: a rude, arrogant woman who came over immediately hostile, snapping, “So what’s the problem?” Instead of listening, she denied everything, claimed the rice couldn’t possibly be cold, accused me of being “picky,” and tried to gaslight me. Her exact words were: “Well, I wouldn’t walk into your work and tell you what you’re doing sucks.” Excuse me? I never said anything like that. I gave honest feedback that her own staff insisted I give. I didn’t even want to speak to her.
Then came the excuses. She bragged about their supposed “five stars on Yelp” (false), claimed Long Beach is “known for vegan food” (also false), and insisted that because they’re so highly rated, there’s “no way” they could ever deserve negative feedback. Ridiculous logic. At that point, not knowing how to respond to this aggressively triggered woman, I asked (genuinely) if she could recommend another vegan spot in Long Beach. She smirked and said: “Oh no, I’m not going to do that because you don’t deserve to know.” Unbelievable. This woman was literally trying to start a fight with us. For what? I just wanted a refund on my terrible flautas and to leave.
So, to recap:
Ice cold rice.
Microscopic, flavorless flautas.
Missing sauces.
Lazy excuse of not washing a ramekin.
Disgusting mayo-based “mole.”
Hostile, gaslighting owner with zero professionalism.
There’s no way this place has a 4.7 rating unless they’re buying reviews. This was hands down the worst vegan or Mexican food I’ve ever had anywhere. Overpriced, underwhelming, and run by someone who clearly doesn’t care about customers.

This place is SOOOO good! Everything is so full of flavor, and you can tell it's made with love. The carnitas tacos are phenomenal. Savory, citrusy, with just the right kick, they are so delicious. But honestly, everything is so good.. The nachos are fried fresh with fresh tortillas made in the morning, the guacamole is hand-made and thick with just the right seasoning, and all of the proteins are perfectly marinated and made with care. And the staff and owners are the coolest people. Friendly, down-to-earth, and they all put their heart and soul into this place. We'll definitely be back!

A very cool and trendy gem in the city of Long Beach. Located off Willow Street & Hayes Avenue, this spacious but quaint spot has booths and tables w/ chairs for your dine-in needs and offers prompt takeout, as we saw several orders prepared and picked up for enjoyment. I'd heard of Plantita, but hadn't really been exploring Long Beach until recently and mainly with my boyfriend who's always down for a plant-based excursion. The menu has a variety, but not an overwhelming amount and the ambiance matches the decor. It's vegan millennial core for sure! We had the asada burrito and flauta plate. I order the enmolada plate, but there was a little confusion. The flautas were the best mistake ever! So flavor and yummy and baes burrito was a massive favorite both in size and enjoyment. We definitely noted a few things for our next trip. Parking is super limited, but there's street parking in the area (mainly residential along Hayes and neighboring blocks). Plantita has great decor, not too overwhelming. A great staff and they also have a variety of beverage including wine!! And the VeganWineLush (Quintin aka me) loves their wine lol We had an event right after so didn't want to be too full from all the great eats/comidas, but might just go for it all next time.
New favorite spot in LB. Everything on the menu is delicious. It's decadent but so fresh. The staff is super nice as well.
I ordered delivery with a friend from here a while back and our order was incorrect... It wasn't that the driver had the wrong order- It was clear that it was just packed incorrectly. I wasn't going to leave a review but tonight I noticed that instead of packing orders properly the owners or operators of this restaurant are on social media celebrating somebody's death. No wonder they can't get their orders right!
It's pretty sad that an establishment that's supposedly represents itself as part of the community feels so bold in as to make light of someone's brutal murder.
What happened to stick and stones may broke my bones but words can never hurt me? Words are not violence. Equality either applies to everyone or no one.. it's not a membership club for certain demographics.
I will never order from this place again and do my best to ensure that no one I know does either. The food wasn't bad, but clearly the ownership is disgusting.. they apparently also own a nursery? Same goes for that place- don’t go!

Stumbled upon this hidden gem and it was not a disappointment. Unfortunately I only took pics of the desert. All the food was made fresh , tasted amazing and was very satisfying. The service was top notch and the music was fun. Whether you’re vegan or not the food is very tasty. I will for sure be coming back.

Came here on a Saturday for brunch and we were the only 2 people in the restaurant.
Parking is really bad. They had a small lot, and we had to circle the block to find street parking.
The ratings for this place were really high so we were excited for it. It was a bit disappointing. We ordered the elote ribs, flauta plate and breakfast burrito. We originally wanted eggs Benedict but they told us it wasn’t available.
The ribs were flavorful and enjoyable. Burrito was ok and my favorite dish had to be the flauta plate.
However the prices are crazy for the quality of food. It tastes just as good as your average vegan joint but with premium prices. It also isn’t really authentic Mexican food but moreso Tex Mex/ American.
