I walked in and I was politely ordering my food but one of the workers was very rude I ordered two bowls and one of them was written on the top “less rice” when I didn’t ask for that. I asked why they did that and they stared at me with a blank expression?? What kind of place does that. I really don’t recommend coming here if you want terrible service and for them to slam food at you.

Just visited Poke Pola and was really disappointed to see that none of the staff were wearing gloves while handling and serving food. I mentioned it to one of the employees, and he simply said they wash their hands. I then asked if it’s acceptable to touch the register and card machine and then immediately handle our food—he had no response. It’s concerning and unhygienic. Maybe it’s time to stop supporting this place until they start respecting basic food safety and their customers.

For $20, the portion size is shockingly small and is definitely not worth the price. The ingredients and presentation were also very basic, lacking the quality or creativity you’d expect at this price point. Disappointing overall.

Went to this location to order a large poke bowl. Anna makes a regular bowl so I let her know I wanted a large. She then gets an attitude starts slamming things shut and rolls her eyes. When needing to transfer the bowls she attempts to put the tuna back into the container. At this point I’m disgusted and over it. My friend spoke to the owner and the owner responded “she’s young”. Age is not an excuse for unprofessionalism and food contamination. Train her better.

This is my go to poke restaurant in Long Beach. I absolutely love it. Wide variety of fish options. I usually order yellow tail, salmon and scallops. My favorite sauce options are “live a little” and “nirvana”. Both are perfectly spicy. It’s more of a heat and flavor than it is spice which makes for a wonderful taste. I also love that all toppings are included in the bowl (even avocado!). It only costs extra for extra toppings.

I was there last night 2/7/23 first time . The person filling my bowl did not stop squeezing on the spicy sauces when I said "STOP" , "THATS FINE" 0, "THATS ENOUGH"!. TOO MUCH spicy mayo and sweet and spicy sauce. He just kept squeezing. I knew at that moment it wouldnt be good. Sure enough I get home $18.00 +2$-tip. And I take one bite and throw it away. I thought about washing it off the fish and throwing away the rice . Gross .cold rice, the tuna ahi was mooshy. No dinner for me. I'm upset. It's way too expensive. You can't see what you're ordering . 10 people behind the counter. THAT I think is weird and Uncomfortable.
I will not go back but if only to get a refund $20.00 for my bowl of over spiced mooshy tuna, 1gram of seaweed, 1/2 pinch of crab, and with cold rice. Blagh. I love poke but not in a congested crowded tiny kitchen noisy and 10 employees gawking at you will you consider ordering what you cant even SEE.. there was a woman with a baking sheet of fish using a torch to sear the tuna leaning over a sink.. that was weird. Seard is in a pan not with a crembrule torch.. I'd like my $20.00 back please Today I love POKÈ on 1st in LB.
