LB Polly’s service and food has really decreased significantly. Today my husband and I had breakfast and it was bad. There was one server, when I say ‘in a rush’, short of running, I mean it. As we ordered, he was so in a rush we almost didn’t get in details of our full order, and yes, his irritation was obvious. When he delivered our drinks, he dropped it on our table while rushing to his next task. My husband and I just looked at each other in disbelief. We understood he was the only server and we were patient. Then the food comes. I wished we just left. My country fried steak was way overcooked it was hard. Toast was way cold the butter on it didn’t melt. The one star rating is for the eggs. Everything else was bad. We pay more money for food and it’s so disheartening when these servers or whoever runs its operations can’t maintain good food, good service when met with challenges like staff shortage. I was raised in LB and now live in Norwalk whose Polly’s location is excellent. We were in the neighborhood cause we work in LB. I’ve experienced too many misses and heard the same from family and friends for this Polly’s already giving the benefit of a doubt, but we will no longer visit this establishment. Good things do come to an end and this is one of them for us.

Nice and cool to walk in. Less than 5min to wait.

Was slow, but we got stuck in a corner. Then, people were seated and served before us. Not sure how that works.

“Thrown Out Like the Pies – A Lesson in Poor Customer Service” I don’t usually leave reviews, but my experience at Polly’s Pies deserves a public spotlight – for all the wrong reasons. If I could’ve left a negative star I would. I arrived just before 9 PM, hoping to grab a slice of what they’re supposedly known for: pie. Instead, I was met with an employee who informed me (without a hint of flexibility) that “we throw all our pies out at 9pm so we don’t have any pies available.” Let that sink in: a pie restaurant throws away its product – not a few minutes after closing, not when the kitchen’s shut down – but exactly at 9 PM. The kicker? It was barely a minute past and there were people still in the restaurant dining. I wasn’t asking for a full meal or special treatment, just a single apple pie, the product your name is built on. But apparently, customer service clocks out at the same time the pies hit the trash. To say the experience was frustrating would be an understatement. I called 2 times while on my way so they knew I was coming and I left empty-handed, while supposedly perfectly good pies went into the trash. I understand closing times, but I also understand basic hospitality and customer service – something Polly’s clearly doesn’t. If your policy is to prioritize trash cans over customers, maybe it’s time to reconsider what business you’re in. Do better, Polly’s. Or at the very least, stop pretending you’re about pies when the garbage gets better service than willing paying patrons.

I ordered their 2 pc. French toast, 2 over easy eggs and 2 pieces of bacon. Their French toast WAS dipped in egg batter and it was NOT good. My cousin ordered the tomato bisque bowl of soup and it was not good either. The soup taste like a jar of diluted pasta sauce from jar. We were there on July 4th, 2025 . Will not go back there again.

we’re seated and for a full half hour ignored by EVERY server. they had enough time to check out eachothers phone

we walked out after letting the manager on site know

how do you have 4-5 servers literally ignore us when we’re seated right by their station? we asked the cashier, she was nice enough to bring us drinks but that was it.

never coming back and telling family and friends to stay away, tired of this kind of indifferent attitude from the staff

Becareful, check your entree twice. Very unprofessional management team. Currently, the restaurant has a major food violation.

Dbl crust peach is out. They said peaches were going to cost too much.
Also, Banbury pies have less fruit and the sweetness taste artificial. Some kind of after taste.
Have not tried the coconut cream, yet.

We were seated & after 4 mins, Lilith pass by, called her attention & she said she is not our server. Waited about 10 mins, Karen, supervisor pass by, get her attention too & told her we’re ready to order. Karen did not even bother to stop, said server will be in a min.as she’s walking . Karen passes our table again with her food sits at the end to eat. 15 mins went by, Karen talked to lilith while she was eating & lilith came by our table ready to take order. I felt the server & supervisor are so rude by not taking a step to assist or at least stop by our table for the whole time to check on us. To top it all, we are told that the prime rib will be available at 6:00.
I called before going to the restaurant if they are serving prime rib. The person said, it starts at 4:00 pm. We were there 5:15 pm.
We left!
