The chef and staff prepared excellent food and provided very attentive service for our son's and daughter-in-law's wedding reception. If you are looking for caterers for a special event, we would certainly recommend Primal Alchemy.

I booked Primal Alchemy for a work event honoring a local artist in Long Beach. We had several delays and changes, but Dana and Chef Paul were consistently accommodating, communicative and flexible. The food was delicious and beautifully presented, all staff were friendly and professional. Truly a first class full service catering company that I would love to work with again.

Primal Aclchemy Catering created a delicious and beautifully served gourmet dinner in celebration of our 60th wedding anniversary on the beautiful grounds of Rancho Los Alamitos.

We recently reached out to get a quote for a last minute event. My call was answered by Cindy at Primal Alchemy, who turned out to be an absolute dream! She was so warm, generous with her time, had a great sense of humor, and honestly shifted my slightly panicked energy into a total-this will be fine vibe.

We didn't end up using their services for this event, but we are certain that we will in the near future. I mean, if this is how they care for people who are inquiring about their services, we can only imagine how fantastic working with them on an event would be! Absolute professionals.

This was the second time Primal Alchemy provided the food for an event in our home, and everything was perfect again. We had an afternoon reception after a memorial service in our garden, and all our guests raved about the delicious sandwiches, salad, tarts and cheese tray. The presentation was gorgeous! And the Primal Alchemy staff are so professional and helpful.

We celebrated my husband's 50th birthday party at our house with about 50 people and Primal Alchemy really made it special. The staff helped make the outside look magical. The food was splendid and service excellent. They are so seasoned that they choreographed the service perfectly. Thank you so much!

Primal Alchemy catered my 75th birthday party, which was cocktails, dinner and birthday cake for 40+ guests squished into our small townhome. They did a fantastic job. Food was great, including a homemade birthday cake which Chef Paul made for me. Guests raved about the passed hors d'oeuvres and the BBQ chicken chili. The bartender was awesome and kept the drinks flowing. It all made for a very fun party for everyone, including me!

Working with Chef Paul and Cindy Goss was easy. They were organized and accommodating to my many requests. They showed up on time, and the kitchen was spotless when they left. I will definitely use them for my next party, and I would recommend them to anyone looking to put on a fabulous party!

Once again Primal Alchemy Catering has wowed me. I had to schedule a rush lunch for guests to the office. The delivered boxed lunches and cheese and meat tray were fresh and thoughtfully put together. The guests complimented the quality of the food. Setting up the order was easy and Cindy always has thoughtful menu suggestions.

It was wonderful working with Cindy and the team at Primal Alchemy who helped us to deliver an LA-based event for exclusive U.S. clientele all the way from New Zealand. We had exceptional feedback from guests about the food and service. We highly recommend and look forward to working with them again.

Primal Alchemy came into our house to help us celebrate our 40th Anniversary. They treated us remarkably. We had appetizers on the patio, an amazing meal in the dining room, and the desserts were amazing. As the Grandma, Mom, and wife I was delighted to be able to enjoy the evening with my company instead of in the kitchen. And, at the end of the evening my kitchen was clean, dishes done and ready for the next day. What a treat! Thank you to the incredible staff for an awesome evening!

I reached out to Primal Alchemy to cater my micro-wedding at Rancho Los Cerritos. Primal Alchemy went above and beyond- not only did they plan an amazing menu, but they also coordinated florals, table rentals, and the cake for me. In particular, Cindy was a fantastic coordinator, and between Cindy and the rest of the team, the day was a dream come true. Primal Alchemy catered my 85th birthday party, which took place in my apartment, last week. Cindy was wonderful to work with. She came to the apartment and not only envisioned the T-shape of tables through my dining/living room but also worked with colors and beautiful creative centerpieces. Primal Alchemy did everything - which proved perfect for an 85-year-old! Chef Paul's dinner was beyond delicious and Christy's service was so warm. My 18 friends told me that besides the food and the occasion, they loved having all their needs attended to without feeling that anyone was hovering over them or interrupting the party spirit. I totally recommend Primal Alchemy. You don't even need to clean up a thing after the party's over.

I have used Primal Alchemy several times and they have been amazing. Great food, great service and very easy to work with. Chief John is an incredible Chief and the food is always top notch.

UPDATE -
They contacted me. They are returning the delivery fees for the early delivery and they are refunding for the cheese plate and admitted it was undersized and actually a plate for one. I appreciate that they reached out to me and that the corrected the situation. I will try them again as I have ordered in the past and have had better experiences - hope to again

My old review when I was upset and angry .......
If I could leave less than 1 star I would. First delivery was supposed to be between 12 and 4 and food was delivered before 12:00 when we were not home on an 80Degree day. Second I paid $45 for a Charcuterie Plate that was not even close on the website picture - Attached is a picture of what we received 10 small dry pieces of cheese and almost nothing else - freaking OVERPIRCED joke
