Food was good enough. However it was overpriced for my husband ending up hungry again just a few hours later. We had Christmas eve dinner. It was very good. Service was fantastic. The atmosphere and view was great.
We were fortunate to have a $45 voucher for a supposedly $80 value for breakfast for two. We were surprised to find just the standard hotel breakfast-type food. Berad, butter, fruit, hot and cold cereal, bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes. Nothing that would warrant an $80.00 value. The food choices were not labeled. One could not be sure if the item was sour cream or yoghurt for example. The hot food area was not labeled either, meaning one had to lift every single lid to find out...
We went to the Promenade Cafe because we had a Groupon. This is the ONLY way I would suggest a friend visit this place for dining. If you don't use a Groupon there is no way I can justify spending over $80 on breakfast for two people. This hotel is not that "grand" and the buffet is nothing special or over the top. I realize it's a hotel and food is always more pricey in hotels, but this place charges prices like they are The Wynn Hotel buffet in Las Vegas....
