The customer service here was excellent. The barista was incredibly kind and apologetic when they had to inform me that they were out of several items I wanted. Unfortunately, I was disappointed with the drink selection due to a lack of key ingredients. I first tried to order a boba drink, but they were out of boba. I then tried to order a second drink, only to be told they were out of an ingredient for that one too.

Two years ago, before the grand opening of the Qargo Coffee Long Beach location, I was hired to film content for them. I spent the entire day working, traveling to the location, and delivering high-quality footage they went on to use — yet I was never compensated. Not a single payment for my work or even travel costs.

While the people at the location were fine to work with, the corporate side was extremely disappointing. They took advantage of a young creator’s time, talent, and effort without holding up their end of the deal. This kind of behavior is unacceptable and unprofessional, especially for a brand trying to build its reputation. Creators be careful working with them!!!

The male server with glasses is very cold and not friendly at all. He just doesn’t wanna give a shit to his customer

Great little place, very clean, super courteous guy working the counter. He was there by himself, patience goes a long way when someone is covering it all 😁 great sandwich too!!!

Milk tea was like watered-down tea. No favor. Cheese cake was ok.

Poor/slow service. Had to request food to be reheated/undercooked. One sandwich was completely wrong even though the receipt reflected the item ordered and we had to repeat 5 times and pointed to the item being ordered. Would not recommend.

Worst last two visits!!! The heavy set lady with the cabbie hat and glasses don't know her name but every-time I went there she always gave me an excuse that they ran outta something or they haven’t made it yet. First I ordered a hazelnut drink with boba and she tells me they are out of boba and the second time I ordered a frap with whip cream she also said they were out of WC???!!! Im never going there again. This place needs to work on having things ready on time. Worst customer service ever I dont like her attitude. I usually don’t leave bad reviews.

Absolutely the worst café experience I've ever had.

Downtown Long Beach doesn’t offer many standout cafés, so when I stumbled upon this one nearby, I was genuinely excited to try a few drinks with my family. Unfortunately, that excitement quickly turned into disappointment.

We ordered three boba drinks—Mangoberry, Matcha, and Coconut. Right away, it was clear they had no idea how to make boba tea. The drinks were served in basic plastic soda cups, filled to the brim, making it nearly impossible to insert a boba straw without spilling everywhere.

But the real issue was the drinks themselves. They tasted nothing like the flavors advertised. Each drink was diluted beyond recognition—overwhelmingly watery, with barely any flavor. It felt like they just added flavored syrup to water and threw in a few ice cubes and boba. The result? Something like 80% water, 10% ice, 9% boba, and 1% actual flavor. I couldn’t even finish mine—it was that bad.

We also ordered food, hoping that might redeem the visit, but the sandwiches were dry, bland, and just as disappointing.

I rarely write reviews, but this experience was so poor I felt compelled to share. This place needs to learn how to make both drinks and food that are even remotely edible.

Be prepared to wait. I went in when it was slow, and for some reason it took 20 minutes just to heat up the breakfast bagel.

I hadn't been to Cargo in a long time, and I can truly say the more things change, the more they change and inv this case for n the better! My coffee - a Cafe Americano - was delicious and prepared exactly as I like it! ...and would you believe they had one scone left in the late morning! It had my name on it! It spoke to me! The barrista warmed up without me having to ask! My faith has been restored in Cargo! I'm so thankful it's a hop, skip, and a jump from me! ☕️

Tbh I was deadass surprised at the prices. Because like... They're affordable ... 🤯 The fact that an Americano is less than $4 says something. Friendly staff and ample seating. Did work there for about 3 hours. Sat next to an outlet as well.

Its very rare to find a good espresso but this place was a great choice. Thanks!

I come there almost every weekend to gram my morning coffee. They serve Lavazza coffee, one of the finest. And it sooo good to just sip while you sit there or to grab to go around the downtown. It's a cool place! 🫶🩷
