Went again 22 Feb 2026:
Our second visit to QueensView Steakhouse - food is EXCELLENT AGAIN. Located on the third floor of Parkers' Lighthouse Restaurant on the Long Beach Harbor. EXCELLENT View of harbor and Queen Mary. Formally the penthouse lounge with windows nearly 360 degrees. Night was clear and could see Palos Verdes Peninsula clearly.
This time we started with the Shrimp cocktail – shrimp great – cocktail sauce very good. Had the wedge salad - chopped – great. had the New York – 14oz. VERY nice. Mushroom side - meaty and great flavor. Scalloped potatoes – very good – prefer this to baked potato.
Discovered something new that was VERY nice. We asked about Mocktails – they have them!!! Very nice to start with. Blood Orange Bomb (BOB) and Cucumber something – Both very nice. Something more than just a Diet Coke to start. And after talking with the boss, he told us they have added a Red and White 0% ABV wine selection. We tasted both the Red and the White. Best 0% ABV Red we’ve had. Will do it with the next steak visit. White was good too. They are working on adding both to the normal menu and the wine list so others can discover at the beginning of their meal.
For dessert, we had the EXCELLENT Butter Cake and the new Grapefruit Tart. Tart was new (maybe not on the dessert menu yet) but great flavors and something different – a scoop of vanilla and the frozen custard in the tart, great crunch stuff and pealed Grapefruit slices. Very nice.

Beet Salad was excellent – a little spicy/zippy which was unique for me. All had Steak (4 Filet one New York cooked perfect (even though one killed his as he requested a Medium Well Temp - AHHHHH). Mushroom and Brussel Sprouts – both great – Mushrooms were meaty and excellent flavor. Potato dish was called out by others a great too.
Jazz group (piano, drums, bass) was great (Friday / Saturday – piano other days). Sound let you conduct conversation as long as not sitting too close.
Staff was great. Gregory (manager) took care of us waiter was excellent.
3 wives birthday celebration – this was 1st or 2nd in 35 years of birthdays.

This place was an amazing experience. My husband and I went for a random night to celebrate our love and we enjoyed the food. The drinks were amazing he got the smokey old fashion and I got the riding high so delicious. Then we got the crab cake for appetizer it was only 1 and we laughed when it came out but it was very feeling. So we decided to share a plate, We got the dri-aged Ribeye, and a lobster tail each, we added lobster Mac n cheese on the side. We couldn't finish the Mac-n-cheese so we took it home. My husband had a sweet tooth and loves butter cake, I was struggling (so full) so I asked if we can get ice-cream on the side just incase. When the cake came out it was so warm and fluffy but buttery crusted it just melted in your mouth we couldn't stop eating it-no box was needed. Our waitstaff was so nice she had personality, some of the other people working was kinda straight faced, no personality. Definitely recommend this for any occasion.

Not worth the price. Mediocre food. Weak flavor profiles. The only thing they have going for them is the view. Our server was delightful but everything was dreadfully slow.

The entire staff was great! Including the manager Greg! Thanks for making my wife's birthday special!
I love the scenery!!! Love looking out at the water at night! The music (band) was awesome!!! The staff was amazing! Kind, patient, attentive but also not too over bearing. The service was over all great. Maybe it's my fault (or maybe not) but I didn't recall reading about the sauce on the lamb chops. I do not like my meat with too much lime hint, unless it's Mexican food, my steak with a tad bit tough but the taste was there. The Mac and cheese was perfect, so was the mashed potatoes. The chimichurri sauce was a bit too “limey”, with not enough olive oil, it was a bit loose, more lime/liquid based than anything. I think there should have been options for the butter choice. We were given two butters, both were sweet, I felt one should have been sweet and the other savory, a more savory butter pairs good with the sweet wheat bread. The butter cake was either uncooked in the middle or not sure if that was purposely “that” moist, but it gave “raw/undone”. However taste was good. Furthermore I'll be back for the vibe for sure!!

The steakhouse had excellent food. My compliments to the chef! My steak was cooked to perfection. And the pasta was absolutely delicious. But my waitress wasn't very attentive. Also forgot the sweetener for my coffee! She definitely gave more attention to a couple of tables around us than to us. And I noticed “I guess he may have been the manager” went up to almost every table either welcoming the guests or checking on them asking about their meals etc. I will be back because the food and atmosphere was perfect. But some of the staff needs to spread the love around to everyone!
Our family gathering favorite place to reconnect, enjoy delicious food with great service always.
The live music was okay but we sat far away to have a pleasant discussion among 5 people. While live music may be entertaining to some, a restaurant is the food, the ambiance, and not shouting at the people at the table. The ambiance due to 360 degree view of the surrounding marina is more than enough.
Our waitress was wonderful, food was good. There was a hair in my cup which they addressed and comped. During our water refills, my husband had a bug in his water. Just be mindful of your food and drinks before eating/drinking.

Our server Alex was very helpful and very welcoming. He made our night a memorable one. The Queensview manager Gregory was very nice and friendly. He introduced himself and checked on our table multiple times to insure we were having an excellent experience at the Queensview. With such serve we will continue to make Queensview our go to steakhouse when we want a special night with family and friends in Long Beach.
Food was amazing, only out done by the beautiful 360° view of the Long Beach, Shoreline and Queen Mary.
Our 4th time here, always special and magical. Great food, great view, and wonderful live music. Get a window seat! Lamb chop and beets both amazing!
Service was amazing. Everyone was attentive. Food was good but over priced. I would dine again.
Wow! Fabulous dining experience at Queensview. Every year we used to go to Admiral Risty's for Christmas Eve dinner and since they closed, have tried various restaurants throughout long beach and southbay area. The dinner we had at Queensview last night was, my husband and I agreed, the best yet. We had the Porterhouse for 2 with potatoes au gratin and onion rings with butter cake for dessert. I am always very critical as I come from a family of foodies and a very critical mother lol. Every. Single. Item was stellar! The potatoes au gratin had so much flavor and texture with no pungent cheeses to put me off with. The onion rings were the best ever and both sides of the steak so flavorful and juicy we couldn't decide which cut was better. The buttercake was just the right amount of density, and soooo buttery omg and perfect for sharing. The proportions were extremely generous and we came home with enough leftovers for another full meal, without having any apps, not having eaten since lunch and my husband being a big eater lol!!! The view is gorgeous also and the acoustics are really good here also, even with people all around , you cannot hear others conversations. We will definitely be back very soon. Ive been to so many high end restaurants and been disappointed with my dining experience and was so pleasantly surprised last night.
