Came to Long Beach for work and found Red Dog. All the bartenders are excellent, friendly and a blast to be around!!! Great hole in the wall little bar with chill Ass locals. Being from Tahoe the locals there can be assholes not here everyone I talked to was super nice!!! My home away from home. Moe and her staff are fkn rockstars!!!

For me, it was too loud, too crowded and too young. Feels more like a sports bar with all the TVs. One pool table , typical 3 board darts.I cannot comment on the service or the prices.Maybe I’ll try visiting again on a weekday. It is Sunday Football after all.
This establishment has very poor management behind that bar. I am not sure what happened from the time we arrived and the time we started to be ignored. I continued to say excuse me to the bartender for some water that was requested 20 min ago. Even tho she not only hears me saying excuse me she continues to serve other white ppl while the 3 colored individuals went unseen and unheard. We even asked the bar keep excuse me and he too ignored us as if we were not speaking directly to either of them. When it got to the point where we couldn’t take the disrespect because we had done nothing wrong, we got up to leave. Leaving the drinks there one untouched. While outside heading to our vehicles the bartender who didn’t hear or acknowledge us before comes running out the bar saying we owe money, ? oh you can see us now??? Her excuse is she was too busy to serve us a cup of water ? and her bar keep doesn’t serve drinks idgaf who serves em ACKNOWLEDGE that you hear us and speak like you spoke to everyone else we didn’t do anything but be pleasant. Our money still green so you can speak when you want payment and then asked us to come back inside where you literally ignored our being there. HELL NO this place is horrible ppl of color stay clear of this establishment of racism towards the melanated individuals.

Went on a Saturday night with some friends, never been there before, but I live down the street so I thought I would check it out. Long story short the bartenders were rude, we went to get some drinks from the bar while playing pool (clearly wasn't done with the game) whoever the older woman is with the red hair put everything away. Now I get if she would've gave some kind of warning that if we leave the pool table she'll put everything away, or simply just asked us if we were done playing. She didn't do either one of those. Not to mention on last call for drinks, she had a snobby attitude and made a snarky comment about us ordering more drinks on last call. It didn't seem like she wanted to be there at all or make any money for that matter. Definitely didn't tip and definitely would not recommend if you're looking for friendly service.
