Saturday, December 2nd, I was in a beautiful mood and was craving a few sweets. So, I quickly searched for something near me while in the shopping center next door. Surprisingly, I found Renaud's right next door inside of Gelson's. I only have my groceries delivered from Gelsons, so I have never been inside.Well, I arrived with my friend and was like a kid in a candy store! Everything looked delicious and amazing, so when the woman at the counter came to assist, I said, "OMG! Everything looks so delicious, I may have to buy them all"! She responds with a very unpleasant look and tone, "Well, that would be VERY expensive for you." My friend and I looked at each other in disbelief, and the woman kept the same bland, serious look on her face and never smiled or anything. I was so in shock that I couldn't even react to it. I went forward and purchased two desserts, but the more it replayed in my mind, the more I didn't want even to eat something that someone with such horrible energy and intentions had touched. My friend stepped away to shop in the grocery area, and I went to find a manager. I asked a cashier if a manager was on duty, and she pointed someone out. Unfortunately, she was rude as well. When I spoke with the assistant manager, he was pretty dismissive of the issue. He stated the company is a third party, so they don't have control.I am the last person to want to even think about race issues, but it was pretty obvious what was happening there. This situation is very unfortunate, but also it's my fault because I forgot where I was. I've been traveling the world for the last two years and just returned. I enjoyed myself immensely and entertained the company of many different races and cultures without one issue. Racism is worldwide, but the funny thing is I only experience it when I come home to America.Everyone has a right to be who they are, except when they decide to serve the public. I should not have to pull out a bank statement or look a certain way to be treated with respect, especially when spending MY money. Needless to say, I won't be back nor will I be ordering groceries from Gelsons again. So Sad.

We frequent this location. The croissants are consistently big, flaky, flavorful and moist on the inside. Raspberry tart is our favorite. Renaud's is gourmet and doesn't disappoint us! Wish they had a place to sit nearby to enjoy with a cup of joe. We always take out.

Pastries were excellent , the baguette a joke, I didn't want to try the croissant at this point. Try Babette down the street for a decent baguette for less than half the price at Renaud.

Oh my god, where has this almond croissant been all my life! 5 stars for this. There is a good amount of almonds spread over the top. A good flakey exterior and crunch to the croissant. And a sweet spread in the middle. Didn't look at what it was. Driving. Couldn't even take a picture of it. Their French macarons taste fresh and good. Service was so nice, friendly, and attentive for a grocery bakery. This is the bakery located inside Gelson's market. It is an order and go place.

Skip the macaroons. Nothing special. Get an almond croissant and you're welcome. You will be happy you did!

OMG. Good, authentic French pastries outside of Paris. My only complaint is that their prices are on the high side, but worth it, once in a blue moon.

The cookies are huge and really soft and the service was friendly. I def recommend this small bakery inside of Gelsons to anyone

Best almond croissants I've ever had! If you're in the mood for something savory, the ham & cheese croissants is next level!

I was super excited to find this bakery online however even though their hours say they close at 8pm that's for the grocery store they are in not them .Mind you the grocery store staff is employed separately and was unable to sell us the baked goods behind their counter. We did grab a box of prepackaged chocolate macarons that were for sale in front of the bakery however they were very dry and dense .

Just tried their cake called "bomb" and it's literally the bomb lol. It's so good it reminds me of a ferrero rocher chocolate. I would highly recommend it.

Stopped at Gelson's for a coffee and couldn't pass by Renaud's without buying something. Everything looked so delicious. Stopped in Friday around 4:45 p.m., and the case was pretty empty. I asked for the 5.5" Le Bisou and thankfully they had a frozen one in the back. Takes about an hour to thaw. Their Le Bisou cake is lemon sponge soaked in raspberry brandy, berry compote, mascarpone mousse, berries & white chocolate. It was my first time trying this and it did not disappoint at all. It was moist and so yummy.

I like this place but the items are very delicate. I noticed some of the items were placed on their side and now unpresentable. The service here doesn’t match the quality of food. Especially if you’re a minority the service seems to go down more. I’ve been coming here since it opened but last few trips are going to keep me away for a bit. Very disappointing
