Consistently great service, delicious food, and great bartenders. Love sitting at the bar for one of the best happy hours around. Highly recommend lobster roll, steamed crab, fried rice, and fish n chips.

It was "ok". Went for lunch...server was amazing. Restaurant is gorgeous. I believe the owner chatted with us (he was lovely and charming). Food was a meh (salmon/veggies) and for almost 30 dollars I expected a bit more. Food runner was really ? Unprofessional? Restaurant was dead. He delivered the food and literally drops both plates and knocks over my glass which I caught (no biggie) but then loudly says FUCK! Okie dokie....my partner asked for soy sauce which he brought back and same thing (spilled all over the table, the menus...). I wish our lovely server had delivered our food who was professional and personable. Maybe we had an off day?

Incredible!! Let me start with the Poisson Cru, which is a MUST TRY! We didn't come in here knowing what it was, but this is a creamy ceviche style dipping dish, which includes shrimp and fish in a coconut sauce. The chips served were fresh and the whole dish was a fantastic surprise! Cioppino was delicious, and came with a piece of toast that complemented the seafood perfectly. Sea bass was phenomenal as well, very tender and soft, cooked to really let the flakiness of the meat shine! Service was so friendly and helpful. I love the ambiance too, with a view of 2nd street and all the interesting things that go on past the sidewalk.

Roe Seafood on 2nd St must be one of the most underrated restaurants in Long Beach. We enjoyed the high-quality offerings at this place. Enjoyed the lively vibes, and atmosphere. The servers are friendly and welcoming. The restaurant was not crowded or loud considering it is 2nd street. The prices are reasonable.

LOVE the ambiance of the back patio! It's so romantic and relaxing. Low lighting. String lights overhead. Olive trees and brick patio. Great place for a first date! Our server, Ashley was very nice and gave us lots of great recommendations! She practically guided us through our entire dining experience and we were super happy with all her recommendations. Great service and great pacing on all items! The food itself was good, but not great. We started with the sashimi plate. Loved the fresh wasabi but expected fresher fish. Then for entrees we ordered the seabass. It was delicious but Nothing heart pounding. Overall very happy with the food. But not the best seafood I've ever had! Still think Boathouse is Better in comparison. Would certainly be happy to return here though. Overall really happy with the service, ambiance, and food!

I've had oysters here before and they werre very good. This time I got Eastern oysters and they were large, but not too moist and no flavor at all. I paid for a dozen, like $52 and was NOT satisfied! I guess that just happens???

Everything was so delicious! Wasn't sure how I'd feel about out the black ink linguini, but it was amazing, as was the ciopinno. The wines and cocktail were all top tier, smooth and delicious! Overall everything was amazing! Staff was very kind and attentive. We sat outside with the heater on which made for a beautiful setting for our dinner. Will definitely be coming back!

What a great random surprise, was on a bike ride on the trail and needed a bite to eat to make it back to Shoreline Village, Devin in the little market next door made this a great choice to stop and eat.

Love this place. A fun, stylish environment with superb food. The appetizer, salad, main dish (Sesame salmon), and desserts (had to try 3, all looked so good!!). Definitely a place to go for delicious food and great service!
