Rose Park Roasters never disappoints. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, the staff is genuinely friendly, and the coffee is always top-tier. I stopped in with a friend and the experience was everything you want from a neighborhood café, great energy, perfectly balanced drinks, and a calm space to slow down and connect. Easily one of the best coffee spots in Long Beach.

Espresso banana bread: not too sweet, moist, delectable.
Coffee: really good!
Space: bright, adequate amount of tables, and some outdoor tables.
Parked on the street. Not too hard to find a spot on a Sunday morning. The area feels safe and pleasant for a little walk.
The interior of this coffee shop is really beautiful and thoughtfully designed. They have different areas, each with its own vibe, which makes the whole space feel more dynamic.
I got the maple lavender latte (less sweet), and it came with orange zest on top... didn’t expect to love it as much as I did. It was so creamy and well balanced, with just the right hints of each flavour. Definitely one of the more memorable drinks I’ve had in a while.
Got the mint agave matcha ! Really delicious drink and friendly staff. Clean restrooms too! Parking is a bit difficult, there’s metered parking if that’s your thing. Really clean place, really good drinks! Hope to come back soon :)

I want to love this location, I’m super fond of the one at Ocean. The staff at pine has regularly been pretentious and rude, almost like you are bothering them(?) I have always been kind and never have special requests. Starting today I will be avoiding it, I received patronizing attitude from the person taking my order. I’m here to have a coffee, just be nice. I know ppl have bad days but this has remained a staple.
Drinks and bites are always delightful so at least there’s that.

Rose Park is one of my favorite coffee shops in Long Beach, but I haven't had the best experiences at this location. The location on 4th Street has been consistently better for me. The service has been pretty disappointing here at the location on Pine. It's been 2-3 times now that I've come in during the afternoon and it's been nearly empty, but there's still quite a long wait to get my coffee. This isn't necessarily a big deal to me, but each time this has happened, the coffee quality has also been disappointing.
One time, I ordered my coffee and was waiting for it while a regular came in. The barista stopped making my coffee and spent about five minutes just chatting with them, but didn't even take their order. When I did get my coffee, I could tell that the espresso wasn't dialed in well and was quite sour.
On the other hand, I have always had great experiences at the 4th Street location. Their fall/winter drink—the herb and root latte is very good! I believe they also make their own oat milk.

The mint agave matcha is insane, but sometimes made better than other times
Thank you Rosa Parks for what you did. Praise you. Thank you Rose Parks for giving me a great unique experience with the miso caramel latte.

the best coffee I've had in long beach so far! came out from Denver and am finding so many queer safe spaces. the massive trans flag was a beautiful surprise for trans day of visibility. also the interior is the perfect blend of warm and aesthetic. plants everywhere, light wood accents, and gorgeous tile 🔥 really loved this spot.

Rose Park Roasters are my favorite coffee in Long Beach. The coffee has a very strong and aromatic taste. This Rose Park Roasters coffee shop location is in particular very cozy, spacious, and relaxing. The pastries are delicious. I had the pear tart and it was amazing!

Lovely place however coffee wasn't good and a mediocre experience. We ordered one vanilla iced latte and a decaf iced latte. The vanilla had coffee grounds in it, and my decaf was awful tasting I literally threw it away. Needless to say we won't be returning.
