I'm extremely disappointed with my recent visit to your establishment. Despite being a loyal customer, the service I received was subpar.
Our server, Erik, and the person in charge, Gabriel, seemed unconcerned when we brought to their attention the foul odor emanating from our glasses and the poor quality of our still water. They dismissed our concerns, attributing the issue to Long Beach's water problems.
Additionally, the hostess seemed uncertain about seating us, initially assigning us to the worst table in the restaurant despite it being nearly empty at 9:30 pm.
Our server's knowledge was also lacking. When I inquired about the origin of the crab, he was unsure and had to ask the chef.
For a high-caliber steakhouse like yours, I expect more attention to detail, professionalism, and knowledgeable staff. Unfortunately, Erik and Gabriel fell short of these expectations. A simple gesture, such as waiving the charge for our bottle of water, would have gone a long way in showing they valued our business.
Regrettably, this experience has left a bad taste, and I won't be returning."

Good statehouse . Some of the food was great, but I was not aware that “well-done” was meant “crematorium style” - had massive chunks of coal with some hint of meat in the middle.

Couldn't find it.
We decided to have dinner here on NYE. We normally go to the Anaheim location, but this was the only one we could get reservations at. Our reservation was for 8:30pm. They clearly overbooked the time slots because we weren’t seated until 9:30pm. We ordered food and drinks. The drinks took forever to get to us. The stuffed chicken was brought out first and the sides came about 10 minutes later. 4 people ordered stuffed chicken and not one of the birds were stuffed with anything. The sides taste like they normally do. The second round of drinks weren’t good. Our server decided to make them because the bar tender was busy. BIG MISTAKE. The server was really nice despite everything. The manager spoke to us as well. Discounted the bill for the experience. If this was my first time at the restaurant I’d be really upset. Will I go back to Ruth Chris? Yes. Will I go back to the Long Beach location? Never. Anaheim or Irvine would never be so unorganized with dry chicken.

I received 10 $50 gift cards from work to use here and asked to consolidate them to make checking out less time consuming and clumsy. Was told they couldn’t accommodate my request.

Went for Happy Hour in the bar. Prices are in red on the menu.
Arrived around 5pm on a Thursday, bar was about half full.
Spouse ordered Lemon Drop, I had diet coke and Vodka. She said her drink was really good, mine was the usual.
Waitress brought a small loaf of bread with butter. It was excellent.
Ordered steak sandwich and a chicken sandwich.
Service was excellent. We must have had 3 people check in with us at least 5 times.
Took 20-25 minutes for the food, which seemed a bit excessive.
Both sandwiches were very good. Bun for steak sandwich was ok but would have loved to have that sandwich on the same bread they gave us with butter. Fries were eh. They were freshly cut and fried, but a bit soft not crunchy and semi warm.
Loaf of bread was the best part.
Tab was around $70 for two with tip.

My wife and I did not enjoy our experience at Ruth’s Chris Long Beach tonight. We had a reservation for 6pm. Only a third of the tables were filled. There were many nice tables and booths available. It was odd that they sat us at a tiny table right by the bathrooms and kitchen. I asked for a better table, pointing at an open booth in a empty section and they finally sat us at a nice sized booth. It was not busy and many couples were seated at nice, bigger booths. We each ordered med-rare ribeyes, along with other appetizers and sides. When we got our steaks, mine was right sized med-rare, my wife’s was smaller sized and well done. So they apologized and brought my wife back a med-rare ribeye that was full of fat and cartilage. She had two bites and totally lost her appetite from the poor quality of the meat. These ribeyes cost $75 each, which we feel is overpriced for the quality. Maestro’s, Morton’s, Nick and Steff’s, and 555 ribeyes are all lower priced and much better quality, with better service and more knowledgeable, engaging waiters. We will not be returning to this restaurant. I recommend considering the above mentioned steakhouses before coming to Ruth’s Chris Long Beach.

Very mid . Lacks flavor and discriminatory
Had not visited this location of Ruth Chris before and I had heard they do a good Happy Hour so I tried it out on a Friday evening.
Arrived before six and grabbed a seat at the bar for a drink and Happy Hour food . For a Friday it was already getting fairly busy . Bartender quickly acknowledged me and greeted me with their menu and options .
Menu and prices for happy hour was good and reasonable. I chose a steak sandwich which is served on a garlic bread and comes with bearnaise sauce on the side and garlic fries . The bartender asked how to cook the steak and it was cooked to my desired doneness .
Good service from the bar staff and food came out quickly. I would recommend this place for their Happy hour .

Staff was friendly but a drink refill took way too long. My steak was a bit bland compared to my friends ribeye. All in all it was a good meal if not a bit pricey.
