I've been here before many times. However this time I wanted to order something different. The salmon croquettes. The croquettes were not fresh very dry and had egg shells in them the worst I ever had. The cornbread was rough and old. The banana pudding i ordered was not fresh. Giving customers food that isn't fresh is a health hazard if you're unable to make certain items fresh everyday the simple solution would be to take said items off the menu. I am very disappointed at what I received. Lastly, why are the greens sweet? Have you guys ever traveled to Louisiana? Because being creole and not knowing how to cook is a disgrace and embarrassment. As someone who has been here before I am disappointed. If you want to keep your reputation good make the food fresh and don't give your customers old dry croquettes with eggs and corn meal coming out. Banana pudding isn't difficult to make and isn't time consuming all of these items should be prepared fresh. Most likely won't return.

Amazing!!! The food was delicious and the service was wonderful. Everything was made fresh and hot! I asked her what was good and she said “EVERYTHING!” and she was right! We got the fried chicken plate! Will definitely be back. Thank you!!! 10/10

First it took a whole 45 minutes for the food to come out. Then the food turned out bad, the fries tasted and looked like they were cooked in very old oil, as well as the fish too, the only good things were the sauce, and drinks. Definitely don’t recommend this place. We will not be eating here again.

Ordered 4 large containers of gumbo on new years day. The gumbo was horrible and watered down. Little or no shirmp and tiny sticks crab legs minimal. My guests and myself were very disappointed. Not good for business. At $30 a pop I expected better quality. Super disappointed.

I’m a First Timer on 10/5/24 , My Husband & Grand Daughter (4) &Myself Enjoyed the FOOD TREMENDOUSLY ? it’s like Not Yo MOMAS , BUT THE NEXT BEST THING.. straight from the NAWLINS ROOTS.. ima Permanent Customer.. THE 4 Stars ⭐️ came from :(HAVING NO AC INSIDE DINING) but 10/10 Rating Overall. PS Our Server was the BEST GREAT PERSONALITY ✊?

Kid-friendliness: My Daughter Hardly EVER eat All her Food. BUT, SAL’S CHICKEN STRIPS ND FRIES SHE CLEANED HER PLATE ?️ ? it took 2 setting because of the Amount, but it was DOWN HOME GOOD.❤️

I haven't been here since COVID-19 hit... everything about this place has changed... no more whole chicken wings ? ? ?... they only have party wings... which aren't bad ... it's just that I love the whole wings... the season was on point... if you're in the area pull up

Customer service was great place was clean however the price we paid for unseasoned food was ridiculous the macaroni and cheese was horrible taste fake , however she can cook all the vegetables very well best thing on the plate greens and yams , fried catfish horrible no seasoning my boyfriend was so pissed about this another man in there got the gumbo he didn’t like it I got the turkey leg that was good because of the gravy and we paid over $50 for this food wasn’t worth it at all

Jambalaya is the only item that is good.
Fried chicken had no flavor, corn bread was hard and had no flavor, peach cobbler was made with canned peaches and the fried pickles were salted.

This food is sooo freaking bland no flavor at all I shoulda knew it was terrible when I didn’t see no black people the yams are hard man idk whts goin on in there no one was there I knew I shoulda left cause the food was not good. Rice all mushy greens nasty
