Woooow this place has changed. The portions are way smaller for the high prices. $48 for a medium half full gumbo and small jambalaya and koolaid is crazy. The medium used to be a large container for $17 and a small jambalaya was in a medium container. As much as I appreciate this taste from home and the owner being so sweet, this was crazy. Not mention, I always take the crab out and the owner adds more chicken and sausage to substitute and today the lady asked to charge me $2 for it. I’m very sad. 😔

Worst place ever. Too expensive and the portions are too small for the price I order fries fries with beef and it was came in a little container and the fries were barely a handful. Not even a handful of fries with a little bit of beef and they charge almost $15 crazy very disappointing. Was looking for ward to trying trying other stuff on the menu but with the portions they give you is not worth it at all

This was my first and last time at this restaurant. I ordered a shrimp boil and there was nothing but oil in the bag and the shrimp was bland. My child threw up within minutes of eating the shrimp. I will not be returning to this place.

I got the fried shrimp, yams, n Mac n cheese. The shrimp was seasoned nicely, yams were FIRE, & the lemonade hits!!! My man got the Louisiana Gumbo with extra rice. HE LOVED it!!!!! Love this authentic, clean, seasoned, restaurant. Please support this place Bixby Knolls!!! 🙏🏽

The gumbo is flavorful and delicious, but the portions are disappointing. Each bowl is mostly broth, and I've only found two small shrimp, no chicken, and just a few pieces of sausage. It feels like a big rip-off—I’ve given it three chances, but it’s always the same. The waitress they had yesterday was a very young girl with an unpleasant attitude. I can't believe they would have someone like that serving customers.

I ordered the Louisiana gumbo and I loved it. I will definitely come back! My husband got the turkey burger (why he would do that with all the other delicious options is beyond me lol) but surprisingly he liked it. Ohhhh and I almost forgot, get you the peach cobbler!!! I was wayyy too hungry to take pictures. On a different day, I ordered the smothered turkey wings and they were good, the greens were ok (wasn’t a fan), and the yams were good.
I try to be supportive when I buy a turkey burger it do not full me up it's cool I learned my lesson now I have to eat something eles that don't make sense you can't make your turkey burger bigger I understand you need money who don't

Food was very nasty. The collard greens had no flavor, the peach cobbler was nasty. They use peaches in a can, cobbler had a heavy nutmeg taste and the breading was soggy and super oily. The yams were decent. I didn’t order any meat and I’m glad I didn’t.
