I normally like to stick to bathroom reviews, but there wasn't a bathroom here and I can't let this go. I went in because they had a walk up ordering without a server restaurant situation; unlike almost everywhere on 2nd street. I ordered a federale (carnitas) taco, chips & salsa and a drink. I'll start with the drink since that came first. How are you out of the cheapest part of running a restaurant, the drinks? Signs all over for "out of", then Mr. Pibb should have had the label, I settled for Coke, ok fine. I got my food...The carnitas was good, but when I got to the tomato sauce, I mean salsa, it made me realize that my taco did indeed have almost no cilantro and barely any onion. The big deal is, that cilantro and onion was specifically listed on the menu for just about all the tacos, then they are almost nonexistent? I grocery shop, cilantro and onion are very low cost. The "salsa" clearly was lacking it. I think I saw a few specs of green; then overwhhelming tomato sauce flavor, I just couldn't. I threw it out. I took a picture for everyone to show I'm not exaggerating. I had to come here to review because there is so much potential here and yet they failed for the cheapest reasons (drinks, cilantro, onion and I assume garlic). As I sat there alone, I liked the music, decor, the guy behind the counter and yet, hated my food. Such a bummer.

A regular stop for me. I frequent three locations along PCH. I love their tacos and the atmosphere.

Food is good. For some reason not as tasty as the Newport location. Cool spot and atmosphere. Service was basic.VERY EXPENSIVE! Two tacos and cheese nachos and a sprite cost $42 before a tip.Honestly, not worth it.

First and last time to visit. I ordered a bean and cheese burrito but asked for cilantro and onions. The cashier charged me for a meat burrito with no meat rather than just charge me for onion and cilantro. Pretty lame to pay $3 for a little sprinkle. I live One block away and I drove there because it was late. By the time I got home, literally 3 minutes tops the tortilla was soggy and the bottom was falling apart. I wasn't given any salsa which was disappointing because I paid $10 for something that clearly states it comes with salsa. Maybe that's why it was dry asl. The burrito was like a 3/10. How do you mess up a bean and cheese burrito? SMH. Also I asked the cashier a couple of questions about the restaurant as it was my first time and she literally said "I don't know". Next time I'll go to chronic taco down the street. This place is not it. It was pretty empty for a taco Tuesday, now I know why.

Do not order a burrito in Tacos Restaurant! I ordered Tri-tip burrito. Meat was great, but rice and beans were bad. So, if you'll order Tacos you'll love it.

We ordered 2 tacos, chips and salsa, guac, queso, and a bean and cheese burrito. The tacos were nothing to write home about. Salsa was ok. Guac was not fresh and over indexed on mushy tomatoes. Also their chubby sauce is a strange sweet salsa. The queso was a ramekin of SHREDDED CHEESE. How does one eat that with chips??? We asked the young person at the counter if maybe that was incorrect and they said that they were new and weren't sure if it was right. The bean and cheese burrito and chips were really good but not enough to salvage a lunch of over $30.

Cute conceptI've been to the one in Newport. This one it's OK, but the rice has no flavor.. customer service was good.Chicken tacos, OK? Price was OK will definitely be back.Just FYI add some seasoning to the rice it would be 100% better .

Drove 30 minutes to make it to the location on 2nd St by 9PM. I arrived 8:04PM and was told the restaurant was closed. The kid employee gave no reason and it was very disappointing. Closed early for no reason? Call to avoid being disappointed. Service in LB not the same as the Huntington Beach location.

Got here around 2pm. Ordered a Breakfast Flaco Burrito. The cashier was nice enough to accommodate me and continue to serve from the breakfast menu. Thank you!Food is affordable and the establishment is in a nice location. Good customer service! I recommend this place. Food was delicious and cheap! :) 7093
