Delicious food with wonderful presentation

Update 8/31/24: So incredibly sad that they are closing. The food is so incredible that I came to town for the 3 day weekend so I could enjoy it one more time. This is always my first stop when I come back to Long Beach. The food is always AMAZING! I just finished off the BBQ burger. My sister and niece, who are not vegan, also love this place. The chocolate mousse is probably their favorite. The service is always on point. Everyone is always friendly. I wish I still lived in Long Beach. I would be here at least once a week. So I heard this place was closing on 9/8 and a friend had told me how good it was, so we stopped in for dinner. We shared the Burnt Brussels Sprouts, Jackfruit Nachos, and the Bibimbap Bowl. All were delicious! The Brussels sprouts were exactly as advertised, burnt, but full of flavor and not that charred taste. They had a bit of a kick, too, almost tasting like they were over salted, but it was actually the spice. The nachos were great, too. The melty cheese sauce, the big chunks of jackfruit, the beans. It was all in there, and super tasty! The bibimbap had bits of kimchi, nuts, kale, and more, and it was also super tasty! There was plenty of food for the two of us to share, as portions are pretty big. There was only a single waitperson and one food runner, so the restaurant was not packed. There were maybe 20% of the tables empty, but the service was spot on, getting us in and out in an hour and we even waited to be seated. Sorry I only got to visit the one time, but glad I did. Maybe I'll go check out the other locations.

El burrito es extremadamente delicioso. Súper recomendado.

So minus two stars due to the fact that our table, when order, was told that, "we are out of that i think." It's 12:30 and wondering why the kitchen staff can't get the menu "86" list confirmed. It would be better to know by the host what's 86'd. If your going to actually have stuff 86'd first thing in the day. Start your prep list earlier please. Other than that that items we did order were very good. Great sauces complimented all the dishes.

My second time at this location. Love the food but can we talk about Seamus? We love Seamus. When he sees me being nosey about a dish he’ll bring it close for me to stare at it. Will give me his honest opinion on certain dishes and he’s right!! The first time I was here it was crazy cold. He felt bad because he couldn’t do anything about it but gave me a scone to make up for it. The scone was amazing. I’m on here just to hype Seamus. Seabirds, float some extra cash to Seamus because he’s worth it and a partial reason I come back. Other that that, love Seabirds and the Burnt Brussels.

Everything we tried on the menu was wonderful! We had the kale cauliflower, purple potato tacos, beet burger, jackfruit nachos, and churro waffles. 10/10 would recommend!

One of the best places to eat. The servers were very kind and had a great food experience. Must try.

Dining here with friends meant that I could sample more dishes. The butternut squash enchiladas filled with butternut squash, mushrooms and spinach, and topped with creamy pasilla sauce, was a favorite entree. The chaffle is fun to share. There are four churro waffle quarters topped with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce and chopped walnuts.

We had the chilaquiles and breakfast burrito after a morning of surfing and it was absolutely amazing. Cold brew coffee, birdy Mary, and michelada - ???… was expecting a line or wait - we walked in and sat down around 11:45 on a Saturday morning. Updated from previous review on 2024-07-13

The entire menu is vegan! The homemade root beer was the best I have ever had! Everything we ordered was so fresh and devious! Our favorite was the dessert, there famous waffle and icecream!

Incredibly rude staff. I had been wanting to try this place out since I live 2 blocks away n immediately regretted giving them my hard earned money only to be treated without decency.

I had just got off work and walked in asking to order take out. I was greeted by a woman in blonde hair and given a menu at the door. I ordered my food and went to use the restroom. Up until this point NO ONE told me TAKE OUT IS NOT AN OPTION. As I waited for my food the young male WHO TOOK MY ORDER mentioned “they do not offer takeout” so I said “okay I’ll take it for here”. I asked if I could sit in the patio area with my small dog and was told yes. The blonde female waiter still brought my food in a to go bag and mentioned again they don’t do takeout. I looked at her puzzled and said i understood. (So why give me a menu in the first place???) I began eating my food when the same male waiter came out and reminded me AGAIN they don’t do takeout (3rd time within the last 10mins). I said thank you for the reminder and reminded him that I was now aware… He continued to circle my table and then said “I was not welcomed to sit in the patio area because I was not seated by a waiter.” So I left. All of that rubbish for just for a simple kale salad and some dry and tasteless Mac n cheese. DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE $35+tip.

I went to eat there with my parents, I am a vegan but they are not. The food is good but not as impressive as I expected. We don’t like cilantro, and my parents fond it in different greens, even when not mentioned on the menu. We got the famous chaffel and it was really good. I had the breakfast biscuit and it was good but very dry. My father got the bbq burger, but they brought the beet-me burger, we didn’t know, because it was the first time we ate there. Overall it was a good experience, but service was also slow.

The food was very good and the menu had numerous options from which to choose. Prices were reasonable and the service quick and attentive. If I lived in Long Beach, I'd go back.
