I passed this place several times on the way to worser restaurants and after a meal that can only be described a utopian, I am compelled to drive by in the daylight to make sure it wasn’t just a dream. Our server was Jack who gently guided us to higher worlds: the sea scallop crudo and lamb belly. The chicken broth was like some magic potion that brought us back to life, nay, higher realms. Grateful to have finally gotten lost in the forest

Where do I even start? My sister picked this amazing place to celebrate her Birthday, since we are from Cali, she did her research and found out that the chef is from Cali as well! Food was so good 10 points, super fresh and very tasty, the tostadas and the papas took us home for a few seconds. I would like to highlight Jack our server, he was amazing! Definitely recommend Selva and for sure we will be back!
I came here for Happy Hour on my bday. We really enjoyed it. The happy hour menu is small but all the items are great. I loved the Mushroom Croquettes. Very well prepared, but the serving size is unfortunately very small. The sweet plantains are great and a good portion. I also liked the Arepas which go very well with all the other bite size dishes.

Selva is an absolute standout! From the moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm, vibrant atmosphere that reflects the heart of Columbia in Long Beach. The food is incredible—every dish is packed with bold, authentic flavors and beautifully presented. You can really tell that every ingredient is fresh and thoughtfully chosen. Chef Carlos is a master of his craft!
The cocktails are just as impressive—creative, balanced, and full of personality. Whether you're trying a classic with a twist or one of their signature drinks, you're in for something special.
On top of all that, the service is friendly and welcoming, making you feel like part of the family. I can’t recommend Selva enough—it's the kind of place you'll keep coming back to!

Amazing experience.. the food is beyond great. Unbelievable flavor! The staff is awesome and super friendly.. the food makes gives you a high as you're eating. You're getting happier and happier with the excitement of how the next dish is going to taste.. the music and the atmosphere makes you dance in your seat as you take your next bite. The place is very nice, the service is very good and fast; although I had a different expectation of the food, although the food was mostly good, for example it seemed to me that the amount of pork belly they serve in the restaurant area, is absurdly small, even understanding that the restaurant has more of an air of haute cuisine; on the other hand, we ordered some beans with rice, which they were supposed to prepare with pork, but certainly the pieces were microscopic, and not to mention the flavor of the beans, it is incredible that the chef is Colombian And I prepared some beans with that unpleasant flavor. If you want to have a few drinks and have a snack with your friends, this place is perfect for that, but if you are looking for a restaurant, I’m not sure it’s a good option.
Brunch here was really cute. They had a really good cocktails and the food overall was good and shareable. It was tasty. You're going to get your money's worth

My friend and I tried this place because it had been highly recommended to me. The food doesn't disappoint! Everything we got was delicious! My friend's pork chop was brought out by one of the cooks and he was very passionate while describing the cooking process and where they sourced the meat. We also ordered multiple small plates and each was excellent. Service was slow but high quality overall, they were very short-staffed and very busy. It was definitely worth the wait and turned into an almost multi-course feast as they brought out each dish as they were made. Definitely recommend going, but make sure to be patient if they're busy.

Colombian restaurant with a small but diverse menu mainly geared toward gluten free dishes. The menu is small and simple with dishes about the size of tapas. It is best to order several dishes and share them with friends. The drink menu has a little bit for everyone with the house cocktails definitely worth a try. As for the dishes, the chicken wings and fried rice are definitely two to get. For drinks I would go with the rum punch, but be warned..it is strong and packs a wallop. Decor is nice, but sit away from the door on the cold nights.
