I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. Tried this place today with my boss for lunch...FANTASTIC! I can’t wait to go back! The food was phenomenal and our waiter was awesome! Great experience all around and can’t wait to go again!
We just heard about this place and had to give it a try… sticky bones, hot hen chicken sandwich and wings- love the chori rice and the potatoes were crazy good! (We ate before getting pictures)
My grandson was thrilled to be invited to draw on the wall!

Shady Grove Foods is a very nice spot with top restaurant quality food. The tri tip and eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sticky ribs were great. The place feels like eating at someone's home, featuring a nice patio and excellent service. The bacon appetizer is recommended, along with the cherry jam. The potatoes are amazing, and the Jalapeno ranch is a favorite. Known as the best BBQ joint in Long Beach, it offers delicious specials, and customers can point to literally anything on the menu and expect it to be tasty. The staff is also kid-friendly, providing help for young families. Despite recent news about shutting their doors, many are hopeful for the restaurant's future and success in their next endeavor.
