This is just s gentrified version of silverlake ramen, I ordered the blaze ramen and they didn't add the chili to our ramens, like none at all. Had to ask them for the chili and they only gave us one even tho we both ordered the same thing (the blaze is supposed to come with a small scoop of chili, it's even in the menu pictures). The portion is just a tiny bit smaller. The ramen came out instantly, usually I have to wait like 10 mins but i got my ramen within 3minutes of ordering. Personally I'm going to stick to the other locations. Considering the location it makes sense that their demographic is different here and why they're food is not spicy and smaller portioned lol.

Review update: This used to be one of the best t ramen in Long Beach. Recently it has been a disappointment. Every time we go they are out of gyoza and the ramen we want. They stopped serving Sho Chiku Bai sake. The shot glasses they gave us were plastic ketchup cups. It's just a bummer, used to be such a good time here.

I had the garlic truffle ramen and chicken karage. The chicken was juicy, and the breading was crunchy and perfect. The spicy dipping sauce was also the perfect heat balance, not overly spicy but definitely flavorful. The garlic truffle ramen was delicious! There was plenty of noodles, tons of mushrooms, and the broth was incredibly delicious. The service was quick and efficient while also being pleasant. They were packed but we got our food quickly and the staff checked on us a few times to make sure we were doing okay. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because it did have a bit of a sit down fast food vibe instead of a real "restaurant" type of feeling. Otherwise highly recommend for delicious quick ramen!

The food is actually very good here, it's the service that needs alot of work. Everytime i've come here something is missing, and getting someone to help you is a nightmare. Last night had to ask for a coke 3 times till finally going back into the resturant and asking did you forget a 4th time. The server decided this warranted trying to give himself a 50% tip by handing me a tablet with a custom amount he entered already entered and it just clicked on the signature portion.Called in to report this and got told no we just do 20% we don't do the custom amount option, which again yes this server did. The food is good but the headache that you will get trying to deal with the staff will make you realize go to any of the 50 ramen options in long beach.Really sucks guys the food is good, all you gotta do is check on your tables bring what people order and not try and steal. Shouldn't be an issue but here we are.

This place has really good food but the quality of the food is a hit or miss. Sometimes the pork meat has so much fat and very little meat. I dont like the meat too fatty and but at times it seems like I get mostly fat. Other than that, the Blaze is really good.

Definitely 100 stars for the food and service.. we come here twice a week.. absolutely love the ramen and broccolini.. but 9 times out of 10 they are out of something that we came for.. we live in Downey and drive a few miles to Long Beach when we get the craving and we only like the chicken.. sometimes they are out of the chicken and we end up eating at the restaurant next to Silverlake.. We don't understand how they can be out of some thing so often .. whoever is ordering the food isn't doing a great job at it.. there's always a sign on the door listing the things they are out.. I will boost it back up to 5 stars when this stops happening.

My favorite go to ramen spot. I always order the spicy blaze because of the creamy and spicy flavor. Their spicy chicken bun is ridiculously spicy, because of the ghost pepper kimchi lol. So make sure you read the ingredients before you take a bite haha.

Been coming to this LBX location since it opened. But the last 6 months the quality of the Chicken Karaage has been up & down. Some days the karaage would be great!! Other days it would so-so the chicken batter would be lacking & doesn’t have the usual crunch & flavor. Another disappointing thing is, as soon as they open I’d go there to order karaage & it’s completely out. How can you be completely out when you just opened?? This has happened to me 3-4 times. Although the service is still good, not sure I’ll be returning unless they improve the quality & take care of their meal availability. Sad

Ramen was great (I recommend the garlic truffle ramen). No complaints about that, nice options to choose from and very flavorful. Staff were friendly and answered any questions I had. Service could use improvement- After the servers took our order we never saw them again until they gave us the bill. We ordered water to drink and weren't offered any refills. No one came to check on us to see if we needed anything else. Towards the end they just gave us our check, didn't get asked if we wanted anything else. At that point I had to ask for more water, and wanted to order the churros with ice cream. I don't recommend the Churros with ice cream. Ice cream was so hard and frozen our spoons wouldn't even cut into it (even waited or 5 minutes to let it thaw but it didn't help). Churros we're still kinda frozen on the inside when they gave it to us.Just stick to the ramen! Yummie ramen!

Ordered Silverlake Ramen to-go the other day and wanted to give my honest review.Takeout ramen is always tricky so I try and be fair with my reviews, but Silverlake Ramen definitely left more to be desired. Temp was okay. The portion seemed smaller than their typical bowls. Lastly they forgot the eggs which was a dagger. Flavor was good on both the spicy tonkotsu and shoyu bowl. But we've had better. For sides we tried the crispy spicy tuna and cali roll. Crispy spicy tuna was great! But only came with (2) pieces.Overall I think dining-in might help, will probably try again.

Great place to satiate our ramen cravings! Broth was delicious and the noodles cooked to perfection. We will definitely come back for more!
