Beautiful and tasty custom donuts. Would highly recommend for every day and for special events. Everyone at my daughter's bridal shower were so impressed.

I was craving some donuts and gave Simone's Donuts a try after hearing great things about it. This is a mom & pop donut shop, I love that they're open 24/7. Thus, when I had some late night cravings, I was able to swing by. Surprisingly, there was still a good amount of people inside and outside the donut shop at 11 PM. They are brightly lit inside, which I like. Even though it was late, their cases were filled with donuts and they still had new batches coming out! I got a variety and was able to share some with coworkers and family. Some of the donuts were okay, a little bit on the sweeter and greasier side. However, I really enjoyed their cronut! (Croissant donut). It was flaky, and I liked all the layers. I also liked their apple fritter and ham and cheese croissant. I'd be back, especially if I needed to bring a variety to work!

I never met a doughnut i didn't like! This place has them all too. Seems like a large portion of doughnut shops around town close early. What about those late night cravings?!? This place will satisfy them for you. Unassuming store front. If you didn't know the doughnuts were there, you would pass it. Parking isn't the best along this busy street. There is quite a variety of doughnuts all the time. I haven't tried the other items on the menu but they look they would hit the spot. Service is good. I think the owners work there too. Super nice people!

Decided to try out Simone's from all the five star reviews. It was Easter Sunday, and the wife and I headed over for some donuts and Thai iced tea. For donuts we ordered two tiger tails, two crullers, and a churro donut, along with two Thai iced teas. The service was fast and nothing g out of the ordinary. When we got home we dug in. First, everything was sweet, which for donuts and tea, are to be expected, but like super sweet. The Thai iced teas were very sweet, which I liked, but for the wife, it was a bit much. The crullers were for me and I thought they were great. Almost can't find them at other donut shops, so they were an awesome treat for me. Soft and airy, with just the right amount of glaze/frosting. My wife had the churro donut and said it felt waxy and stale, and had an odd sweet after taste. I tried some, and was in agreement. It wasn't super soft and did have a waxy after taste. The tiger tails were kind of in the same boat. Sweet to the taste, but a little stale tasting, or they are just super dense. In all, they had some cool donuts and I'm guessing depending on the day and time, the donuts might be less stale feeling. Still down to try again though, but not amazed at this first time.

what a solid donut shop to go to whenever you're craving sweets at ANY time! they're open 24 HOURS, and especially for CSULB students, this is the perfect go to spot. they also offer vegan donut options. my friends and i came in at around 12am and their employees were very patient as we took our time deciding. *they were kind enough to give each of us a free glazed donut with ALL of our orders! the ambiance was just like any typical donut shop open late at night, more quiet and calm overall: 5/5!

Got an Iced Coffee which was way too sweet for my liking. I also order a box of doughnuts which is ok defiantly a way to see which one you like. Doughnut Holes that I request with it were good and I would go with a chocolate cake style one if I had to choose one. But in my opinion the crosswinds are better than the doughnuts.

The donuts were very soft, especially the cake donuts. Not impressed with the cronut (maybe bc it wasn’t fresh out) there were 2 left in the display)Went at 10pm there were plenty of donuts to choose and more coming out. The lady was nice, she hooked us up when we ordered donut holes.
