WOW. I stopped here on the last day of my trip by happenstance and they blew me away beyond belief. From the moment I walked in the ambiance was incredible. I had beyond fantastic service and really felt taken care of. I ordered a chicken taco and a bean and cheese and was BLOWN away. The sauces are increíble but what makes this place different is the incredible tortillas. I had to take some home with me because I couldn’t live without them. Overall an over 10/10 experience and I will be planning my next trip to Long Beach just for another visit to Sonoratown!!

Was pretty excited to finally try Sonoratown’s burrito. Unfortunately, I was left disappointed by the overall food.
Ordered the burrito 2.0 with carne asada. The tortilla was extremely good - great flavor and chew. Unfortunately that’s where it ends. The interior of the burrito was nonexistent aside from pinto beans and salsa. I’m not sure if it’s location dependent or what but the burrito was extremely lacking.
It doesn’t help that they charge for salsa. You need to nickel and dime your customers .50 cents for a small container of salsa? If that’s the case, please make your $14 burrito with better quality control.
EDIT: I also just found out they double charged me...

Best mexican food in California. Great prices and environment. We are from Dallas Texas, and this is authentic mexican food! Carne asada is so tender, tripa is crispy just how I like it, but the Chivichanga burrito with chicken is the star 🌟

Delicioso!. Everything was very flavorful. The coconut milk horchata was incredibly good. The customer service on a Sunday afternoon was great. I had a little mishap and they handled it so graciously. Very kind and professional. Highly recommend. Can’t wait to go back!. Gracias.
