Easily one of the beat slices of pizza around LA if not all of Southen California. Is it pricey, yes. But also it is very worth it. Try catching a slice on sale - two slices can go a real long way. Love this place and will continue to come back!

Went in at 630pm and they refused to sell us a deep dish pizza. "By the slice only and it stops at 4pm"
Lame. Ended up with a couple regular pizzas and they were ok. Sourdough crust is good

The interior of the pizza shop is nostalgic. When I went I placed my order online and the moment I stepped in I was greeted and my order was ready. I will say the price of the pizzas are on the higher side and offering a by the slice option would be nice. I got the pepperoni pizza and I would say it was okay. The tomato sauce was sour and it being on top of a sourdough crust made the pizza even more sour. There needed to be a little bit a of sweet element for balance. The pepperoni and cheese were also just okay.

This is the best pizza i’ve ever had, and the first time in my life i haven’t wanted to put ranch on my pizza. I literally said “no need to mess with perfection” lol. We got the Brooklyn Bee. Will be returning!

Some of the best pizza I've had. Most def better than anything else in CA. Much prefer this than Prince Street in Hollywood. Way better. Try the New Haven style.
Just one suggestion: maybe a high chair would be nice for those who want to eat there with children.

They need to put photographs of the pizzas online. Plus, they shouldn’t use the word truffle in a mushroom pizza unless they’re going to use truffles or at least, truffle oil. Neither was noticeable in the mushroom pizza. Also, it didn’t have red sauce on it. The pizza was good, but again, I was pretty much flying blind without photographs of the pizzas. I ordered delivery.

Man I don't know. It's good pizza but my god is it salty.
This pizzeria is truly exceptional! The combination of fresh, high-quality ingredients and perfectly balanced flavors is unmatched. The sourdough crust is light, airy, and full of character, adding a unique touch to every slice. The portions are generous, ensuring you leave fully satisfied. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. It’s easily one of my favorite spots, and I can’t recommend it enough!

I’ve read the reviews here, and some of them made me smile, so I decided to support one of the best pizzas in Long Beach. People complaining about “burnt edges” should take a trip to Italy and see what authentic pizza looks like—it’s all part of the experience! Others mention a lack of cheese, but that’s because they’re used to American pies loaded with cheese and salami. Speak Cheezy is all about the balance of flavors, and they use just the right amount of cheese to complement the other high-quality ingredients.
Take their LBC pizza, for example—oregano on whipped ricotta cheese. Or the salt flakes on the Brooklyn Bee pizza that add an extra layer of texture. It’s the attention to detail and thoughtful combinations like this that make Speak Cheezy stand out. People come here for the perfectly matched flavors, and it’s clear the chef has put in tremendous effort to create a menu we can all enjoy.
With one of the best crusts in the Los Angeles area and so many different pizzas with a variety of ingredients, this place is a must-visit for pizza lovers. I just wish they had their Birria pizza more often, so I can finally try it!

The pizza way too thick with soggy crust. Did not detect sour dough. Disappointed. Salads were exceptional. Drove from San Diego to try but had to sit in car to eat while the owner took up two seats with laptops. No public bathrooms.

Delicious pizza spot nestled in Belmont Heights. It's a little bit pricey, but worth it. I easily walked to it from my home in the neighborhood, so it's a great place to grab a pizza if you're anywhere nearby.
