I have always loved Starbucks simply because everything was great, the coffee, the staff and the vibe. But this place disappointed me big time. can't be more mad about such ugly experience. I don't understand why they should act like we owe something and also provide burnt coffee.

Their cafe is very clean, spacious, and welcoming. We love the staff here and their free wifi. We ordered Mango Dragonfruit Lemon drink (back) and Grande Strawberry Lemon drink (front). We much preferred the Dragon fruit as it was less tart, less sweet, and better flavor! All their other menu options are delicious as well. Love this place so much for being much nicer than Coffee Bean down the street and having great music.

One. I used to work at Starbucks over a decade ago. Two i still work in customer service. That being said, this location always seems to have a problem with their mocha frappes. It tastes like really watered down chocolate milk. So, either your mocha pump is running low and you need to switch it out. Or two your barista is not using full pumps when they are adding in the mocha. Two, your barista working the drive thru needs help with his customer services skills. If you want to ask if the customer wants anything else. You can simply say " okay, is there anything else you would like to order? Or would you like anything else? " Not "Okay. What else? What else would you like. One i was not done with my order, because i wanted to add whether or not I wanted whip on the frappe. Because your question "okay what else? Should have been Alright, would you like whip cream?" ... ‍ I took two stars so I can give my two cents

I usually like this location because they move fairly fast for the amount of people that come to this location. Today I was disappointed. I ordered on the app and walked inside. There were 5 employees, no customers in the store and only 2 cars in the drive thru. I saw one order to be picked up that clearly was not mine and a second order that looked incomplete. So I waited and not one of the staff members acknowledged me. Finally after the guy making drinks made a couple one of the other staff members told him to go up to me. He asked for my name and I told him my name and drinks. He then pushed the lonely cup towards me and walked over to the expresso machine and poured the expresso shot that had been sitting there next to my cup since before I enter the store and added water then handed me my drink. That means in the middle of making my order he just stopped and let my drink go bad then ignored me when I came in.

got there at 8:30 to pick up a mobile order and didn't leave until 855 took them 25 minutes for them to make a non espresso drink and it was still made incorrectly

This is a fine branch with a very comfortable patio and plenty of parking. Staff was ok, it does go smoother when they know their customer but nothing major. It is also a very busy branch, especially the drive through. The patio tables were filled with a friendly mix of people. We all were smiling and enjoying the space and the small conversations that occurred between tables. As I sat here, I pondered some recent events. Have we ever needed to resolve an issue regarding points, stars, rewards, there is a top notch dependable staff to call at Starbucks customer service. Polite and professional, I trust they would be fair were there a serious problem. So a distinction between a Starbucks, a Peets or any of the other standard chains with the smaller coffee shops in Long Beach has become very apparent to me. With those smaller establishments often comes a belittling attitude, an unfriendly environment. I've been saddened by horrific treatment followed by a ghastly and libelous response to a review by a manager who has garnered her share of negative comment regarding her behavior. Who needs that? Trying to contact the owner, although he is known, is not simple. It is probably possible, but I wonder if he does not espouse similarly skewed sensibilities, else why would the situation not have been corrected before my encounter. Up to point in time he was apologetic to the many that his establishments caused personal discomfort, that is not the current way. My realization. An important one for me. Starbucks would not stand for bad treatment of its customers. Everyone is treated equally, no one is unwelcome, no one has to look the part. Whether one likes the product or one does not, there is a lot to be said for that and that alone.

I frequent this location on a regular basis. I have been coming here since it's relocation a little over three years ago. In that time there have been many manager and only a few that have made a positive effect. There is a duo there now that have made great strides over the last several months one is Allie and the other is Helen(I think, sry if it's wrong). The store is so clean when I go, my drink is always right and they seems to recognize me when I go in. I just hope to not lose these two gems any time soon

If u wanna go to the worst Starbucks to ever exist u have found the perfect location. The service is awful, and the guy who helped me with my order name is Andrew, he is rude and disrespectful. He laughed when I told him my order was wrong the week before and that my name was written down for a replacement. He refused to make it right after I was told it would be no problem when I returned I asked to speak to a manager and he never got them. I was very Disappointed in how I was treated and I won't be back.

What can i say, Starbucks is Starbucks, overpriced but everyone loves it. And everyone loves it for a reason they deliver some solid products. But with that being said there is an expectation for the prices i'm paying for my food/drink. I expect to be served quick fast and have no complications. If i'm paying $12 for 2 i'd the smallest sandwiches on earth they better get them out hot and ready. And that just wasn't the case, service was slow, lady at the register was very quite and kinda rude. I expect more from this very average establishment. Do better Starbucks.

I have been going to the Starbucks on the corner of Ximeno and Atherton since it opened. A little over four months ago I noticed a dramatic change in the service and the overall efficiency in getting my order. I normally go through a drive-through but on this particular day the drive-through line was long and didn't look as though it was moving, so I placed a mobile order from my car and went inside. Upon entering the store there were at least five other customers waiting and about 10 employees behind the counter all busy. But above the usual noise all I could hear was someone named Helena (possibly the manager?) barking at the employees and telling them to do things other than what they were currently doing. At one point even telling the girl at the drive-through window to "just stop talking"! Seriously? I understood at that point why everything was taking so long and the lack of direction from the leader who is all over the place and seem to have no focus herself created an uncomfortable situation for myself and I'm assuming everyone else that was standing there watching her. Let me be clear the employees were great and doing everything they could to be accommodating and take care of everyone it was if the manager was deliberately trying to undermine them. I understand everybody is busy but it just seemed as though the berating by this individual was unnecessary and unprofessional. It was painful to watch and hear these employees be disrespected by someone who is supposed to be supportive and helpful. I don't know what these employees but it is surely not enough to put up with that! Not sure what this Starbucks was thinking promoting someone with zero social and management skills. Your manager sucks and it's affecting your business, do better Starbucks!

I'm writing this as I'm sitting in store, and I've been waiting 20 minutes for a small hot Carmel macchiato. I thought maybe someone accidentally took mine (another rachel) but they kind of dismissed it far I was saying. Paid almost six dollars to waste a chunk of my morning and walk out empty handed.

Closed at 6:30 pm. What is that about. They are next to a busy Rasing Canes. I wanted a cup of coffee before and was excited about the it being here. Really upset that they closed early.

I guess when you want to complain l, you'll complain. I understand Starbucks (as a corporation) may not have the best roasts and what not but this location makes its drinks just as enjoyable as other hidden gems. Their customer service never fails to be kind and helpful. As long as that drive through line is, it goes by quickly. And they RARELY burn their roast. I usually start with a cold brew base and then add milks and sweetness as I crave. Their drive through reps and baristas don't seem to have an issue with it. Can't believe people have given such low ratings. This location single-handedly carried me through the lockdown.

The drinks tasted good but I asked for 3 venti drinks and 2 out of 3 of the drinks were filled with ice more than half way point really. Starbucks is an extra treat for my kids what a disappointment for them to get a drink like that.
