The food itself was absolutely delicious, with the salmon on top of my sushi roll being incredibly thick and fresh. Overall, an excellent experience!

Another gem sushi find. Excellent quality, taste and prices. I had the candy roll filled with tempura shrimp, crab, with salmon and tuna on top-so delicious. The baked scallop roll was filed with crabmeat with baked scallop on top-perfect. Clean casual place, plenty of table seating as well as sushi bar. Good music and service. Will be back for sure.

We had a great time at the restaurant! Tried the snake roll, surprise roll, and chicken teriyaki. Rolls were delicious, and the chicken teriyaki was the highlight - savory and tender. Despite being busy, the service was attentive, always checking if we needed anything:)

I have been going to Sushi Kara's for a few years now, and it is my favorite sushi restaurant in East Long Beach. Their sushi is always fresh, with big portions, and they have a big variety of sushi rolls. They also have excellent Japanese food like teriyaki dishes, curry, pork katsu, and many more. The staff is always friendly and their service is excellent. It is a must try if you are in the area.
