This place is hands down one of the best sushi spots—not just in Long Beach, but in all of LA. If you’re ever in Long Beach, this is an absolute must-visit. The service is exceptional; the staff is incredibly friendly and attentive, and the sushi chefs are amazing—so welcoming and talented. An all-around outstanding experience.

The sushi was really good, but it was expensive for what it was (spent $40 a person before tip). The server was weirdly aggressive about upselling to us and kept arguing with us about the number of pieces of sashimi we get for an order. It was really strange vibes, won't be coming back.

Undersized portions and over priced prices. When I would normally eat 2 rolls it would take 3 here to be as full. Combined with the higher prices it cost double for a meal.
And the parking is non-existant!

My first time at Sushi Mafia and I was pleasantly pleased and so happy that I went in!! Great food, great service!! Reviews about this place is accurate about how good their sushi is! Their staff, Daniel, Roy, and Tristan were great, very attentive and helpful. Daniel especially is very outgoing and nice. The menu is quite varied, lots of different rolls, entrees, sashimi, etc ... I had the American Gangster and that was delicious. It was slightly spicy but not bad at all! Also, Hello Kitty hand roll was delicious, loved it! I like that the was no rice and all fish! The Yellowtail Collar was good too, if you just want some cooked fish. Definitely go eat some sushi at Sushi Mafia!! You can't go wrong! I'll definitely go back!

Sushi Mafia is such a great casual sushi spot! The service was excellent — friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The no-rice rolls were bomb, especially the Yuttsu roll, which was packed with flavor. The Syndicate roll and other regular rolls were fresh and tasty, and the scallops were tender and delicious. Perfect spot if you’re craving sushi in a laid-back setting!

Super yummy! We went here cause it was close to our hotel. Turned out to be really great. We got two sushi rolls and tempura veggies for 2 people and it was so much food we couldn't finish. Really great prices too! I'd come back if I'm in Long Beach again.
