Servers were rude and kept brining us the wrong order. At some point, we hadn't realized it was the wrong order and ate some of the sushi pieces and then 5 minutes later the guy comes and grabs the plate and says this wasn't for you without giving us a chance to say anything. After taking it back and talking to other servers he brings it back to our table all while we are in awe of what just happened. Additionally, there was so much staff but no one was refilling our water or our tea and it's a very small place. We had to ask multiple times for anything and everything including what we had ordered. The straw that broke the camels back was that despite advertising they close at 9, the staff turned off the music and lights around 8:30-8:40 and we're just staring at us with attitude until we left at 8:57. They also started sweeping around our feet at that time. I clocked the time exactly because it was such an awful feeling and they walked right behind us to close the door as soon as we stepped out. Will never forget there again

I wish I knew about this place years and years ago. The overall quality of sushi was amazing, everything was so light and not over weighted with rice and the flavor explodes in your mouth. Every single dish we ordered was exceptional. Our server was awesome and we sat outside which was very comfortable and relaxing. I can't wait to go back.

Tried this place for the first time last night. Perfect night for the patio. I had never experienced Peruvian style sushi and was not sure what to expect. Everything tasted amazing! Fresh! With the unique flavor adds I never used my soy sauce or wasabi paste. I will be going here again and recommending to everyone I know.

We had an amazing time here. It's sushi worth a Latin flair and it did not disappoint. From the perfectly cooked octopus to the freshest sashimi, every bite was a delight. The service wss excellent and it was such a warm place to shine out with friends.

Tried Sushi Nikkei in Bixby Knolls and we went all in with PACK 3. Spicy edamame to start, tuna tacos (so freaking good), and their Nikkei style sushi lineup was delicious. On top of that you get two specialty rolls for the cost of $72 for everything which felt like such a deal.
We picked the Acebichado and OBA Roll, then got a little extra and added the Belmont Roll and HotTuna. Zero regrets, with sushi I feel like we can throw it down and eat a ton lol.
The Belmont Roll and Acebichado were my top faves, totally worth it. The OBA Roll wasn’t really my thing since the cooked salmon. HotTuna gave a spicy little kick, loved that one too!
The whole vibe is fun and different from your usual sushi spot. I love the Japanese inspired sushi with a Peruvian twist! If you go, trust me and get the HotTuna, Belmont and Acebichado.

Great original melded array of Peruvian and Japanese flavors. Chef Eduardo Ogata's very well trained chefs anailed it. No surprise their receiving Michelin 2022 recognition. Highly recommend this experience to broaden the pallet with tantalizing stimulation.
The food is excellent. Management needs to hire more staff because the kitchen and servers cannot keep up when they get slammed on a busy night.

Sushi Nikkei was a delicious experience! We had reservations for 7:30 PM on a Saturday, but surprisingly it wasn’t busy at all. We were able to enjoy outdoor seating, which made for a nice atmosphere. The wine selection was good, and the sushi was absolutely divine—especially the Parmesan-coated roll (I can’t remember the name, but it was incredible!).
We asked the staff for their favorite rolls, and they gave us several great suggestions. Every one we tried was delicious. Highly recommend!

Each plate was expertly crafted and flavors were so intense, unique, and fresh. My only regret is not ordering more food!!! Service was excellent, food arrived quickly, and I was thoroughly impressed with the execution of each dish. Wow!!!!
