I dnt know why ppl like this place..i mean it's ok ... well if you like it then, there you go. I based on my experience here so. I ordered udon to go Before and it was literally just noodle and soup base. No green onion of any kind. Like bad science project. Just brown water and white noodles. And sushi i had? It had burnt tire taste to it. Like they used industrial no joke kinda torch to seal some of the fish? But it was just like what the hell am I tasting #$^%$%^

Sushi on Fire" truly lived up to its name! I visited with a friend and had an unforgettable experience. I indulged in one type of sushi that was not only fresh but bursting with flavor. While I can't quite recall its name, I've attached a picture for you all to enjoy! Our waitress was exceptional—attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. To top it off, the view from the restaurant was stunning, making our meal even more enjoyable. If you find yourself in Long Beach, I highly recommend stopping by. You won't be disappointed!

Honestly one of my favorite sushi spots. The fish is super fresh and everything is reasonably priced. The servers give great service and everyone is super attentive. Even the sushi chefs are nice, not to mention quick. They bring you a miso soup on the house the minute you get there which adds an extra touch to the experience. Can't recommend this place more!

Great little spot in Belmont Shore with a quick, efficient staff. Usually easy to get a table. The sushi rolls are excellent! Fresh ingredients. They have good miso soup as well. My menu favorites are the Buzzy Roll (which has no rice) and the Spicy White Dragon (which is made with soy paper). Friends have tried and enjoyed the fried rice and tempora as well. There are a number of rolls made without seaweed, which I like a lot. The sauces are good and the flavorsome.
Very fasted to be seated. Food is ok. Girls serving us was very nice pleasant .

Solid 4 stars! First time and won't be the last time here! Can't believe I have not been here yet but then again I limited eating out after the pandemic.Sat at the bar with a friend and service was super quick! Your food will come out before you expect it! We enjoyed everything that we ordered from their extensive menu. Asked the sushi chef for his recommendations and he was very helpful.Nigiri portions are huge!Fish is fresh!Rice to fish ratio is perfect!911 Roll, not pictured was the right amount of heat.What I like is that their sauces are light, not heavy mayo based, for the dishes we choose.The "4 corners" was a winner. I'm coming back for this dish!

First off, trying to park here is a pain! Only street metered parking or trying to find near residential. I literally had to go around block 3 times to find parking. I came in around 12:20pm probably first customer cause no one was there. The ladies greeted us and they were nice but didn’t come up to us too often. The Food was amazing. I ordered the Halloween rolls and my friend ordered the 911 rolls and we shared the pork gyozas. I would probably come back here if I was in the area again except for the parking it was a hassle.
Parking: Metered parking on streets. Or try residential areas.

I've been coming to Sushi on Fire since it first opened back in 2012. This restaurant has a ginormous menu and will satisfy anyone's special diet. It's great to see this restaurant to have evolved to such a degree of success that it has changed ownership without affecting the feel or menu of the restaurant. It's still my favorite!
