Been going here for years. Prices have gotten a bit high but the food here is excellent. The sushi and the rolls are fresh. The dining area is nothing fancy and it takes your food a little longer to prepare when they are busy but I love the food.

Foods okay for the price. Used to be cheaper but has gone up. Quality is the same. Gets really busy sometimes during dinner time so I advice to not even try and dine in. There's no crowd control either so everyone is just standing everywhere. Sometimes you can barely get by and you're shoulder shrugging as you get by.

So I always liked this up until a recent experience. I called in and asked for the baked scallop roll, the lady said dragon roll so I went with it not knowing that that wasn't it. I called in to let them know that's not what I ordered, she explained what the dragon roll was, which is not what I wanted but whatever. Instead of trying to remedy the mistake she tells me I can order the correct one next time. I was like wow, not a big deal but It left a bad taste in my mouth. Next time I will go somewhere else for sure. The sushi is good tho, don't get me wrong so don't be discouraged by my experience.

The Japanese owner of this place doesn't like crying children or Latino people, so if you are Latino or your child cries, you'd better go eat somewhere else. Personally, I will never go back, they made me have a very unpleasant time.

I've known this place for over a decade and it's still going strong. The food is solid and lots of options to choose from. I love their calamari salad, and custom built bento box. Can't go wrong with their Teriyaki salmon and sesame chicken. You have to serve and bus your own table but the food is good that I don't mind at all. Prices are reasonable. Highly recommended

Japanese grandma approved!
Love this neighborhood gem. Always fresh and delicious. Can’t beat the lunch specials. I like to pick up a teriyaki chicken bento box for grandma. She loves it!

This review is for young women in the front with long nails. She needs customer service 101 classes. She has an attitude as if she was paying for dinner. I have been dining at Sushi West for over 12 years....now disappointed. I asked her to explain about the cost of spicy sushi and non-spicy. Her delivery's on the explanation was awful. First, she walked away as I asked questions, and then she returned because i asked her, "Why are you walking away and looked at me like I'm an idiot for not knowing. I explained that it was the first time my kid was trying sushi. She could have care 2 cents if that. This review is not for the restaurant but for the women. I get it. It was a long day, and she probably had enough of explaining. Nevertheless, respect towards the customer was on some other planet where sushi isn't served. Btw, this isn't the first time she gave me an attitude. I didn't order a side of a bratty attitude. I'll visit Ramen Hub more often now.
