Homeless guys sleeping on the benches next to the outdoor seating area, that and the smell of urine get my appetite going for sure...welcome to Long Beach

Food okay at best. Mashed potatoes hard on top. Mac & Cheese lacked taste. Waiter little personality. Didn't ask how we liked everything & no water refill. He got nicer when it was closer to tip time. Open decor restaurant is nice.

Let me start by saying BOTTOMLESS MIMOSAS!!! They have amazing flavors one of them being pineapple which I've never seen. The food is great and they even let us try the flavors! Make sure you stop by, if you're in the area!!

Unfortunately they are either closed or closing. Which is sad because this spot is beautifully stunning and well laid out (love the outside and inside equally). The food was average to good. Service is decent...some challenges with knowing where to sit, getting service and staff service coordination. As a customer felt a little lost at times when I was there as no one seemed to really know what was what and/or how to accommodate customers. I was hoping they could work out their kinks.....sad to see them go so quickly but now I know why service and food were a bit challenged.

**Closed** ... restaurant is closed until further notice. Noticed placed on door with no additional info. If planning to dine may want to call first to see if they have reopened.

It would have been a nicer experience if they had outside heaters, and attentive service on a lazy Sunday. Wasn't really busy when we came, but still took 20 mins to get our cocktails, took another 20 to get our order and no sign of napkins, silverware, or platters came until our cocktails were gone. Here's what we like about the place... what we like here is the prosciutto pizza with fig jam and barata...which is the reason we came the second time. The looks of the place is fantastic and sits in a such a fantastic location of DTLB with much competition, too bad service on a slow day sucks, imagine service during lunch? If your gonna have a delicious stone fire pizza and great service you might as well head over to Micheal's.

Table 301 is located in one of my favorite areas of Long Beach because you're close to downtown and there's so much to do just steps away. The decor was done beautifully and they have a nice outdoor patio which even has a fire pit and lounges if you want to stay a while. Unfortunately, it never seems to be too packed and I can see why. I didn't think the food was very good. I wanted something refreshing to drink so I selected the Tequila Mule. I appreciated the fresh piece of candied ginger inside the glass, but there's something about a mule not being in a copper cup that just misses the mark for me. My dad had the burger which appeared small but he did enjoy. He said the bun was on the small side making for a good bun to meat ratio. I had the Meatball Sandwich. It was large and filling, and the meatballs tasted homemade. But there was something about them that wasn't great. I don't think they were juicy enough and they were a bit chunky instead of nicely combined. It also needed more provolone for a delicious cheese pull. They have branded themselves as an American Bistro, and the menu offerings do sound quite tasty. I think an improvement in the cooking could make this place great, since I love the atmosphere. The pizzas also look good and might be worth trying, but you do have 2 places within walking distance where you can get amazing pizza as well.

CLOSED Aug 2019 after one year!!!! Yelp reviewers were spot on 6 mths back, just surprised it took this long. Someone lost a lot of $$$$ on this place too bad they didn't hire more competent Mgmt. Staff, like managers that don't lecture potential customers of 'reservations' when they turn you away and multiple tables remain open for 1+ hours. Buh-bye.

Thanks to Jay and his crew, our fundraising event yesterday was an absolute success!!! He had the banners hung perfectly, allowed us to bring in the mic and amp. and the house music they play worked really well for our event. Got to meet his beautiful wife Judy. His son and all the servers were helpful & bartender Mike was a huge hit!!! The outdoor patio was perfect with different type of seating to meet everyone's needs. We enjoyed the Green Goddess salad, homemade potato chips with an aioli dipping sauce and four pizzas; mushroom, prosciutto & fig, margherita & pepperoni. Everything was ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Day after the event and the guests are raving!!! Thank you for your hospitality Jay & everyone at Table 301!!!

So many bad reviews, such a bummer because this location has so much potential as does the restaurant and it's overall vibe. After driving by this place dozens of times, sometimes it's poppin but most of the time looks dead - I finally decided to check it out after having lunch next door at the new Portuguese Bend Distillery. I would have had lunch at Table 301 but remembered how bad the food reviews were on here months ago and unfortunately for them, it doesn't look like they've improved. Still, I wanted to check them out so my friend and I came in for a drink. The cool windows that face out onto the sidewalk definitely add to the good ambiance here but unfortunately the windows were all closed so we weren't even sure they were open but we noticed the door open and a small table of people eating inside so we came in and sat down. I read a lot about the bad service but being that we were the only other table there, there would be no excuse for that. There was one waiter and one bartender and both were great. We each had a margarita (mine pineapple and my friends jalapeí±o) and they were excellent, much better than most places to be honest. I still probably won't bother coming here for a full meal but I'll definitely be back for drinks. We came on a Monday afternoon but I'm sure the energy is much better in the evenings and on weekends. I'm rooting for them to make it!

Worth going just to eat a $4 plate of homemade chips! Seriously try the chips! Decent happy hour and great atmosphere. House wine is very reasonably priced and decent quality. They have a $20 bottle of Rose' on the menu. That and a bowl of mussels with some toast and your golden. I'd like to see them expand the menu a bit.
