With 6:30 Saturday reservation opted for an indoor table that unfortunately was by the kitchen at peak time so it was noisy. Other seating options, if available, would have been quieter. Service was prompt. Very large menu of options. I ordered the veggie entree which really feeds 2, my companion the falafel bowl - which was so ample that she couldn't finish. Veggies were a tasty variety of roasted peppers, onions, eggplant, etc. along with pickled items on beds of rice with a nice side of hummus. Included were tahini sauces and garlic yogurt that were very flavorful. I thoroughly enjoyed each item since each had a unique spice and flavor. The falafels were nice too. Came with a basket of flatbread. I took half home with me and enjoyed it the next day. I'll be back.

We recently dined at Taboon Mediterranean when we were craving for some mediterranean food.
It was a working day night but the restaurant was almost empty and the ambience wasn't very inviting. We were seated inside and were looking down another inside room with some chairs in a store room. Ambience was definitely a bid let down in that regard !
Service was good, our server gave some good recommendations and food arrived on time.
We got Chicken Shawarma : which was OK. Did not appreciate few cartilage pieces in the plate.
Mixed Plate was again average , Lamb was quite mushy and lacked flavor.
I am big on my cola drinks and If a restaurant cannot get their Pepsi/Cokes right , its a big let down for me. I got Diet Pepsi it tasted funny. I could tell it came out of their fountain dispenser but it had a wierd taste and that killed my experience !
I am giving them an extra 1 star for good service and appreciated their sauces and pickles and salads that came with the plate - but I will not return.

I ordered 2 taboon mixed grilled plates (totaling $68) and my friend had a bug in his food. I called to speak with a manager and the guy who answered told me they’re busy come in tomorrow. I explained I drove from the high desert (over 2 hours) so that’s not an option, he then hung up on me forcing me to call back the next day. When I spoke to the owner of the restaurant and explained the situation his first response wasn’t to apologize for the bug in my food or his staff hanging up on me, it was “So you’re telling me you found a bug in your food? what kind of bug because my restaurant is always clean”. which I didn’t doubt, because it was! however I still found a bug in my food so his response was very alarming. after a back and fourth he agreed to refunding me since we three our food away. when the refund came it was a partial refund for $29 because I only found a bug in one of the plates Even though NOBODY would still eat from a place after their partner found a bug in their food. None the less from the bug in the food, to the staff encounter, and OWNER encounter I am disappointed and will never return back and i made sure I told everyone I introduced to this restaurant about it. If you choose to eat here check your food thoroughly before leaving or eating it, you won’t get another chance to plead your case here!

I've ordered almost everything at this point. In these pictures attached is Baklava and the Veggie plate. But My Favorite is the Lemonade Mint slush drink, the shrimp plate, the hummus ( Usually I don't like hummus but this is so good), and the beef is really really good!!!!
