This place is hidden on 4th street. There is plenty of street parking in front of the restaurant. It's not that busy later in the evening. The service was quick. The ambiance is super cute with the cherry blossom tree and the art on the wall with the chicken. This is a cashless place since they recently got robbed. So make sure to help out this small business!I got the original hainan chicken rice. Everything was flavorful and spiced right. The sauces that came with it was perfect. I love how chicken is cooked steamed as it was juicy and not try. I would get this again. If you're sick, get their herbal chicken soup. It has 5 spices and Gojo berry, which is beneficial when you're sick. I definitely will be back here to try their bubble teas too!

Family meal was spot and for a great price! This place is fantastic for quick service and good food. Ordered quickly and enjoyed this meal. Got Crispy Chicken and other chicken. The sauces were excellent and the rice was very flavorful! Highly recommend!

Loved my experience here! Was looking for a chicken spot that my friends and I could eat and catch up at and thought the interior looked cute. Lady who helped us was so sweet! And the Hainan fried chicken with white garlic sauce was delicious (definitely recommend). Will definitely be back! Parking = street only

Oh my goodness. The owner is the CUTEST! She ran to serve us and was so kind. Her energy is so pure. The chicken was juicy, fresh, and flavorful. Although the chicken was oily, it was still a refreshing dish. Everything was gorgeous and tasted amazing. It's a fun spot for a good meal.

Fantastic low key spot on 4th St. in Long Beach. Love the branding and ambiance. The food is even better. Our hostess/server, Tanya, was very knowledgeable and professional. Turned us on to the sauces (my favorite). All about the Herbal Chicken Soup. Best Chicken Soup for the Soul, no joke.Definitely coming back to this joint.

Good food and boba, you can't go wrong with that! We stepped in here for dinner and got a mixed Hainan chicken plate, the herbal chicken soup, and an orange tofu with rice. I also was excited to see they offered decaf tea so I got a passion fruit decaf. The order arrived in a fairly quick amount of time and we were ready to dig in! The chicken plate had a generous amount of both fried and steamed chicken, a shaped mound of rice, cucumber slices and 2 sauces. The chicken was tender and I enjoyed the contract of the crispy, more bold flavored chicken pieces to the more delicate flavor of the steamed chicken. The dark soy based sauce was a delicious accompaniment to the rice and chicken and I loved the combination of spices in it. The rice was nicely cooked, had just the right amount of seasoning, and went well with the chicken. The soup was comfort in a bowl. It included whole shiitake mushrooms, large chunks of chicken, and goji berries. The broth was superb. The soup reminded me a bit of Taiwanese style soups my mom used to make when I was a kid. The orange tofu had perfectly fried cubes of tofu with a perfect amount of orange flavored sauce. They know how to cook good tofu as well as chicken! The tea was light and refreshing. I really appreciate that they offer decaf tea for those that want bubble tea in the evening and don't want the extra caffeine. For those that want mix ins, they are purists and only have boba available. I'd go here again for sure!

... REALLY cute little place on 4th, near Redondo in Long Beach that serves Hainan chicken, that you can't find just anywhere! My friend highly recommended this place, but one thing he probably doesn't know is after talking to the nice lady here, Tanya, is that they have a location in Torrance also... AND another restaurant called Blossom Ramen in El Segundo! The sauces were bomb and the chicken didn't disappoint. I tried their egg rolls and potstickers also.

Something was missing here. I don't know if it was the unseasoned chicken or the unsatisying taste of the rice or the very oily yet no flavor sauce. It looked good and appetizing but then with each bite, I'm not sure if it was legit or just lacking flavor. The chicken was tough to eat and the sauces did not compliment it at all! Really wish I went somewhere else for lunch because it was a mediocre meal for $40!!

Delicious food, friendly staff and good prices. The chicken portion is quite large. I stick to the original, but the fried chicken looks very good.

Chicken and rice has to be one of my favorite dishes for a good protein intake and after the gym meals. I came here to try Hainan chicken which I've never had before. Ordering half and half allows you to try either one. I enjoyed dipping the chicken in their sauces, the giga sauce, and sesame soy. It's a decent portion where I couldn't finish the whole thing and saved the rest for dinner. I really like the fried more and I also ordered the gyoza which was crispy and hot! This spot is a fantastic hole in the wall, and I have continued to come back. It doesn't look like much outside, but the murals and decor inside say otherwise. There is plenty of seating for big groups. The cashier was very sweet and explained some of the food options and their new boba drinks. Next time I'm going to order tea with my chicken!Parking could get tough on this street, so you may have to explore the nearby neighborhoods.

I was really looking forward to trying to place. I drove one hour to check it out but the owner did not show and the staff working could not take orders. Maybe it is good but I didn't get a chance to try so 1 star for not having staff who could sell the product.

Ordered the Family Meal togo and it was super yummy! It said it feeds 3-4 and the portion is pretty generous, we had leftovers and even shared with our dog. Got the mixed chicken of fried and original. They gave us a lot of sauces, one was a soy/vinegar sauce and another sweet/sour sauce that was also very yummy! Original chicken was good, both dark and white meat. Dipped it in the sauce and ate it with the chicken rice. Fried chicken reminded me of katsu. Both super good! It had some cabbage at the bottom too, so it would get soggy. Parking is street and it's a small little restaurant that kind of looks like a boba shop. Would definitely come back and order again! High recommend if you don't feel like cooking for the family, it was about $48 total so only about $12 per person.

My son was craving for hainan chicken and normally we would hit up cluck2go or savoy in Alhambra. However, we were hanging out close to Long Beach. Ordered to go and I believe it was the owner who took our order was very nice. Parking was hard to find on a Sunday. Owner was kind enough to help me locate a parking spot. 3 stars for the service. The lack of stars was due to the dry chicken. Not the traditional Hainan chicken with rice. No ginger scallion sauce. No chili sauce. Rice was not fragrant like the traditional hainan chicken.I asked for dark meat and was assured dark meat. I don't think we were given dark meat. The sauce that was given was flavorful BUT again, not the traditional hainan sauce and luckily there was sauce because the chicken was not moist. Sorry......
