I love this place!! Best Mexican food ever!! The prices are super fair, the staff are super friendly and they have all my favorite drinks like watermelon and cucumber flavor. I've met the owner a few times and he is the nicest guy!! I highly recommend Taqueria LA Mexicana especially if you're looking for great Mexican food in Long beach at a very fair price and appreciate friendly staff. Outstanding!!
The tacos weren't even tacos, they literally gave me tortillas and looked like they accidentally added some meat! $2.50 each plus tax! Money down the drain.

If I could give this place negative stars, I would. The cashiers are so rude and disrespectful. Whenever I come to the counter, they instantly walk away or have nasty attitudes. However, if someone Spanish-speaking is there, they have no problem speaking with them, taking their order, or helping them. Clearly, no one cares enough to address this behavior, but it's just kind of disgusting.

The cashiers at this place usually have a haughty attitude and now I understand why. The owner is a 1st class jerk. After calling in my order because they take forever preparing it without fail, I arrived and parked and walked to the Tierra Mia next door to them to pick up a drink to enjoy with my food. Apparently, he does not think highly of customers in the area as he doesn’t believe we can read signs. How dare we be free to think for ourselves and make our own decisions. The owner feels the need to drive up to me and tell me I cannot park at his parking lot as it is for customers only. With the way he approached me, I responded I was a customer to both places and he should mind his own business. Well, even after letting him know I’m a CUSTOMER of his establishment, he STILL felt the need to get off his vehicle and walk over into the establishment I was now in. He starts YELLING at me trying to bully me . I yelled back at him as he does not deserve my respect at this point, and advised him I had already ordered and was picking up. He ignores that and continues to yell over me to the workers at Tierra Mia pointing out how “ignorant” I was as if he knows anything about my education level. To this I said , “you just lost a customer” and his response was he DIDN’T CARE. So, YOU didn’t lose one customer, you lost many. Your a** does not get to get into a persons face like a bully and berate a customer and get away with that unprofessional behavior. Lead by example buddy. Get off your high horse and maybe YOU yourself won’t end up looking like the Ignorant a** you made yourself to be. My family and I will continue to support OTHER establishments in the community that have better respect for their customers.
