It would have been 5 if they didn't make the order spicy when I asked for non spicy. But was over the phone so perhaps a misunderstanding. Also seemed expensive for takeout

The food here was good. Could be a bit expensive though. The Tai tea is good here, better than other places. It looks like there is only a couple tables outside to eat.

My go-to spot for Lao / Thai food in the L.B.C. I stopped in today & got soup because it was cold and rainy. Soooo good! I usually get the green papaya salad & / or pad see ewe but the soup hit the spot & was exactly what I needed. The owners are so kind. It really feels homey here. Down to earth service with delicious food & a comfy atmosphere. I came all the from the San Gabriel Valley because I knew it would not disappoint. The vibe here is so good & genuine. Sending blessings to these owners. The food & service brought sunshine to a gloomy day.

I love this place. My go to is the crispy pork (you can adjust the spice level and it comes with vegetables, and rice) with egg rolls and a Thai tea.

I do not recommend this place. I ordered a Pad Thai, I paid for meat and shrimp and they had more pasta and only 2 small strips of meat and 2 shrimp and the truth is that they did not have a good flavor.Very badly.

This *IS* some of the best Thai and Laotian food that you’ll find in SoCal.The service is usually always friendly, and while the place isn’t the most desirable looking, the food is absolutely excellent. This is more of a take out spot than it is a dine-in, however they do have some high-stool seating and some outdoor patio seating, but nothing really that aesthetically nice to sit and eat at.100% will always recommend this place to others.

Takes a while to make order. Hard to to communicate. Takes only cash not even zelle or venmo. Was really not happy with their service.

Definitely a little hole in the wall with some really great food. We had the curry, pad see ew and pineapple fried rice and I wish we ordered to go as well so we could've eaten it again later. 10/10 recommend

Despite being a take-out place, Tasty Food To Go is one of the best Thai restaurants in the area. To add even more confusion to the name, the preparation of the food takes anywhere from thirty minutes to nearly an hour. If you are prepared to call ahead of time and eagerly wait, your patience will be rewarded with great food.

Food, service, ambiance, jokes, wisdom. This oasis of delicious Thai / Laos food is like the best of all worlds. Every time I come the food hits! The prices are fair and there is so much love and wisdom in the cooking. If you see Uncle Lam, who owns the barber shop next door, say Hi. He may change your life, hella casually though. Lol. Yes this place is a MUST if you are in the mood for food. Just be prepared it may take slightly longer to make because everything is made to order from the OG's in the kitchen. 100% best Thai food in Long Beach.

This place truly is tasty! The portions are VERY large, (we make 2 days meals out of every dish). They are busy in the evening so if you plan to eat there you should call your order in before you get there as the wait is usually 30 minutes. The flavors are good and the quality is decent, but the portions are big so if you're on a budget this place is great for leftovers

The crispy pork was the best I've had and I've eaten a lot of crispy pork! The service was great and the kitchen looked clean. I highly recommend!
