This place is now closed and it's a bit sad but also not surprising. Years ago it was just a really fantastic little hidden spot in north Long Beach that even offered delivery service. The food was the best some of the best Thai food I've ever had. Slowly though their hours became more and more random and unreliable. They would be open regularly for weeks at a time and then closed up for 5 days then open again, and then closed again etc. I think the cook had health issues. The quality of the food, while still pretty good also started to drop, like using cheap cabbage as a filler vegetable and using frozen store bought pot stickers, stuff like that. So it was slowly headed to a close for a long time actually. I gave up on it months ago as the food just wasn't as good anymore.

Love this place. Was very sad to see that this restaurant is now closed . Hopefully they moved to another location because this always hands down my favorite Thai food restaurant.

Came here at lunchtime from work. I ordered the lunch special with yellow curry chicken. The curry was very watery, I prefer it to be thicker. I also ordered it spicy, but it was more on the mild side. Bonus- it came with soup and a small lettuce salad. Prices were reasonable.

Thai kitchen is the real deal. No matter what you order, pad see ew, mint chili noodles, green curry, Bankok beef salad or anything else, it's going to be great because the chef is fantastic. With that great food, you also get great service. Eveything I have ever ordered at Thai Kitchen was delicious! But be careful because Thai food is hot, so if you can't handle the heat, say so when you order. The only problem is that they don't have any set hours, so instead of coming and finding the place closed, be smart! Call and see if they are open. The reason they don't have set hours is because this is an honest to goodness great local family restaurant with quality food that is served delicious and piping hot, so sometimes one of the family members is ill, so the chef has to take care of them and comes to the restaurant late. The service is also great, so first call and if they answer either order on the phone and say you are coming, or order out. If you come early, which for them 5:00 PM is early, don't expect your meal to come immediately. They have to set up, get ingredients ready and heat up ingredients for your dish. This is not a fast food restaurant and if you want your meal quick, go to McDonalds or Jack in the Box or somewhere else.
